What if church actually felt like home?

At Hope Church, Sundays are not about filling a seat and checking a box. They are about stepping into a place where you are known, where your kids are genuinely welcomed, and where you will find people who are real, authentic, and ready to walk alongside you in whatever you are facing.

We are ordinary people, passionately following Jesus and trying to make Him visible here in Martinsville and Henry County. We are not a perfect church, but we are a real one. And that means you will find genuine warmth when you walk through the door, a community that feels less like an audience and more like a family, and a place where you and your family truly belong.

This is not about attending a service. This is about becoming part of something that feels like home.

What an absolute blast we had all week long at What A Mess VBS! We are so proud of all the kids who spent their nights memorizing Scripture and working hard to earn points for their teams.

This week, our kids discovered that even though we all make a mess in life, Jesus loves us right in the middle of it. They learned how to humbly confess their mess, trust a loving Father who always welcomes them home with grace, and share that same forgiveness by learning how to address the mess of others.

To finish out the week, the winning team got to pick two of our leaders to get covered in slime, but we couldn’t resist throwing in a third leader as a surprise.

Thank you to every single volunteer, leader, and family who made this week possible!

Tonight is the final night of What A Mess VBS!

All week long, the kids have been working hard to memorize Scripture and earning points for their teams by reciting their verses each night. The stakes are high for our final night, because the team with the most points gets to pick two leaders to get completely slimed.

Our kids have learned some big truths over the last two nights. On night 3, they learned to confess your mess by being humble and honest with God. Last night, they learned how to address your mess because God is a loving Father who runs to meet us and covers our mistakes with His grace.

We can't wait to see you tonight at 6:30 PM!

The first two night of What A Mess VBS have been a blast!

This Sunday is a Family Sunday, which means all of our kids will be joining us in the main worship gathering. We love these Sundays because it gives our incredible Hope Kids volunteers a well deserved morning off, and it gives families a chance to worship together.

As always with Family Sunday, we will be sharing a meal together right after our worship gathering. This Sunday, the meal will also be a way for us to celebrate a big milestone, as we honor all of our graduates during our time together.
