No matter what you're facing today—whether it's a health concern, a family need, a financial struggle, a difficult decision, or simply a desire to grow closer to the Lord—we would be honored to pray with you.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Gospel Highway Church! 💙

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, teach, and encourage those God has entrusted to their care.

As fathers guide their families, we are reminded of God’s promise in Psalm 32:8:

*"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."* — Psalm 32:8

What a blessing it is to know that as fathers seek to lead their families, God Himself provides wisdom, direction, and guidance every step of the way.

We pray that every father is strengthened by God's grace, filled with His peace, and encouraged in the calling He has placed upon their lives.

Happy Father’s Day! May the Lord continue to guide and bless you as you walk in His ways.

“WE HAVE TOO MANY PRIDEFUL LEADERS AND NOT ENOUGH HUMBLE SHEPHERDS.”

The tragedy isn’t just that humble shepherds are rare.

It’s that when God sends one, people often wound them.

We celebrate charisma but ignore character.
We reward platforms but neglect faithfulness.
We applaud those who speak the loudest while overlooking those who serve the most.

The humble shepherd is the one praying when nobody sees.
The one carrying burdens that aren’t theirs.
The one loving people who don’t always love them back.

Yet too often, they’re criticized for being gentle, overlooked because they’re quiet, and wounded by the very people they’re trying to help.

Be careful how you treat a shepherd who walks in humility.

The people you dismiss today may be the very people God appointed to watch over your soul.

Pride attacks. Humility serves.
Pride demands recognition. Humility gives sacrifice.
Pride builds kingdoms for itself. Humility builds the Kingdom of God.

Before you criticize the shepherd, ask yourself:
Have they failed you, or have they simply refused to feed your pride?

We encourage you to come sit at His feet and remember that there's always a place for you in the church, where the Bride of Christ is ready to love and comfort you. We remind you that life won't always feel this exhausting or tiring, and we invite you to place your hope in Christ and hold on just a little bit longer.
