Because our thoughts affect our peace, don't allow the devil to be the only one talking. With purpose, rehearse what God has promised and begin to give thanks as if it is already done. Too often our attention gets diverted by the actions of the enemy. We begin focusing on the tactics and those who are used to come against us. To counter, surrender it all to God. When we decide to just depend on Him, He provides additional grace. Always, always lean on God.

There is an expiration date for your troubles. The due time is just around the corner. In the meantime, cast all your cares on God. He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:8 states to stay sober as satan is always seeking to devour. It's risky to speak while we're under the influence of our emotions. Being emotionally out of control will make it difficult to align our words with the word of God. When we're not able to tame our tongue, the devil is motivated. As often as needed, excercise your right to be quiet. Quiet compliments peace and it will certainly confuse the enemy.

In an attempt to prevent us from resting in God, the devil will try and convince us to handle our situations on our own. Because God has a plan for each of us, there is no battle we have to fight alone. In honor of His faithfulness, let's gather to worship the One who never leaves. Let us all prepare for church!

Putting our belief and faith in God, aligns us with success in every area of our lives. 1 Peter 5:7 supports this statement. Bookmarking this scripture will help us to remember whatever we're concerned about, God is concerned about it too. Because this passage said all of our cares and not some, it should prompt us to include God in every circumstance without the consideration of size or urgency. Hence, whether you're looking for a deal on some laundry detergent or looking to close a deal on a house or car, involve God. If you're having pain in your pinky toe or facing a scheduled surgery, involve God. If you have turmoil with family, a neighbor, or on the job, involve God. If you're trying to decide what to eat or where to eat, involve God. If you're headed to a big box store or large venue and you desire a closer parking space, involve God. Be mindful, there is a full line of angels, who are assigned to each of us, awaiting to be disbursed on our behalf. God is just waiting to hear from us. Only a thief enters without permission.

Back to School, Back to Blessings!

We are more than a church. We're a family committed to serving the community we love!

Our Back-2-School volunteer event was a beautiful opportunity to pour into students and families, helping them to feel encouraged, equipped, and ready to succeed.

A special thank you to our ILM volunteers and those who helped make this event a success.

For just one second, imagine with me. Imagine understanding your purpose in life at an early age. Imagine your purpose includes dying not just for the current world but for all the generations to come. Generations who may or may not believe in your sacrifice and you still continue with your purpose without an ounce of condemnation.
From a personal perspective, the sacrifice that Jesus made on my behalf, fills my eyes with tears and my heart with overwhelming joy. It allows me to realize that I have long been set free. Because imaginations can also bring revelation, never stop imagining!

The Old Testament provided invoices (labor for salvation) while the New Covenant provides receipts (saved by grace). Jesus Christ paid it all. He did not do it just for you and me. He did it for the world and without condemnation. Undoubtedly, Jesus was the Perfect Sacrifice.

Doing the right thing doesn't always give us a great reward. Instead, it gives us a greater test. Some of our greatest test will follow our greatest success. Regardless of what we may be experiencing, we can't stop being who God called us to be. With every level in life, it is designed to prepare us for the next level. To build us up versus tearing us down. Be sure to remain rooted in your purpose and not your problem. God may not allow us to skip a level but He is with us and He is faithful.
