Today the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, joined by parishes and faithful across the country. The act of consecration takes place as part of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

We welcome Father Bob Robeson and Father Isaac Siefker to St. Martin of Tours Parish on July 1, 2026!

Rev. Robert Robeson, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Indianapolis and Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Beech Grove and chaplain coordinator at Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, appointed pastor of SS. Francis and Clare of Assisi Parish in Greenwood and St. Martin of Tours Parish in Martinsville, while remaining chaplain coordinator at Roncalli High School in Indianapolis.
Birthday: July 28th Ordination: June 28, 2003

Rev. Isaac Siefker, parochial vicar at Good Shepherd Parish in Indianapolis and Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Beech Grove, appointed parochial vicar at SS. Francis and Clare of Assisi Parish in Greenwood and St. Martin of Tours Parish in Martinsville.

What a beautiful and meaningful pilgrimage we shared at St. Francis & Clare of Assisi Church for the Jubilee Year of St. Francis.

We spent time in prayer and reflection, walking through the sacred spaces of the church as Fr. Steve explained the artwork, relics, and especially the San Damiano Cross—such a powerful reminder of Christ’s call to St. Francis.

We were also blessed to have Fr. Steve celebrate Mass for us, making the day even more special.

St. Francis of Assisi pray for us as we continue to walk in faith, care for creation, and live with humility and joy.
