Our MGBC Kids just kicked off a new 12-week series during our 2nd service children’s church! 📖 Over the summer, they will be diving into 12 crucial Bible verses everyone should know, with a big goal: hiding God’s Word in their hearts.

But they aren’t doing this alone! We are challenging our MGBC kids AND their families to memorize each weekly verse together.

📖 This week’s verse: Psalm 119:105 (the theme for our entire unit!).

⚽️🏀🎾 Another Victory Sports Camp is officially in the books! Last week, we welcomed over 80 amazing kids from our surrounding communities to the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park to sharpen their soccer, tennis, and basketball skills.

Beyond the drills and games, the heart of our week was spending time each day diving into the truth of God’s Word.

THANK YOU to our incredible coaches and awesome teen helpers who served with so much energy and heart to make this week possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Tomorrow is PROMOTION SUNDAY! All of our MGBC kids and youth are officially bumping up to their next age and grade levels. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with them!

We’re also diving back into our study of Acts (11:1–18). We’ll see how the gospel breaks every single barrier—though not without a little controversy. When Peter visits the Gentiles, it sparks a massive debate in Jerusalem. But what starts as criticism quickly turns into a powerful reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

Join us as we learn a life-changing truth: When God opens a door, no one should close it. See you tomorrow!

⚽️ 🌍 Did you see the World Cup display in the lobby last Sunday?

With the tournament bringing people from 48 different countries right here to America this summer, we have an incredible opportunity to pray for the nations. As we’ve been studying in the book of Acts, the early church spread the gospel by going, but we have a unique opportunity to pray for the unreached as they come to us!

If you haven’t grabbed a prayer card yet, stop by the table in the lobby this week to get involved:

Pick a country: Choose one of the 48 nations to commit to praying for daily.

Scan the QR code: Use the code on the card to learn educational facts and specific prayer needs (a great activity for kids!).

Track the bracket: Follow along with the giant bracket in the lobby to see how far your country goes in the tournament.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭? • Tomorrow, we’re looking at a pivotal moment in Acts 10:34–48 when the Good News broke into the Roman world, proving there are no second-class citizens in God’s kingdom.

That same life-changing message is still transforming hearts today across America and around the world.

Join us for worship at 9am or 10:30am.

Graduation season is in full swing! The big question being asked of graduates (and even incoming seniors) is, “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵?“ 🎓

College, trade school, the military, the workforce... it’s a lot of pressure. It’s completely okay if you (or a graduate you know) feel a bit overwhelmed or spiritually unprepared for that next big leap…. But what if the next step isn’t about rushing into the world, but pausing to build a strong foundation?

Did you know a Biblical Study Program has launched a new campus right here in the Cove?

At the Martinsburg Great Commission Bible Institute, a gap year isn’t a year off—it’s a year set apart. It’s a unique opportunity for young adults to
• Deepen their understanding of Scripture
• Grow in daily Godly discipline
• Seek clear direction from the Lord

Before making those massive life decisions, give God this next season.
