HOPE KIDS We are a kid's ministry of Marshfield Church of the Nazarene. We learn, have fun and strive each day to love Jesus and spread hope to those around us.

🚀⏰ We’re going BACK IN TIME! ⏰🚀

This Sunday we’re kicking off our brand-new Time Machine Series in Hope Kids! We’re traveling back to an incredible story from the Bible and meeting Rahab, a woman who showed what it means to put her faith into action.

💡 BIG IDEA: God wants us to put our faith into action.

God promises to help those who call upon Him. Rahab didn’t exactly ask God for help, but she demonstrated her faith in God by asking two of God’s people for help when the nation of Israel was preparing to conquer her hometown of Jericho.

And God used those two men not only to save Rahab’s life, but to welcome her into the people of God! ❤️

What an amazing reminder that faith isn’t just something we believe. It’s something we live out!

We can’t wait to dive into Rahab’s story and see what God wants to teach us about putting our faith into action! 🙌

📖⛏️ THE DIG STARTS TONIGHT! ⛏️📖

We are SO excited to kick off the very first night of The Dig! 🎉 Our Grades 1–5 kids are getting ready to dig into food, fun, friendship, and God’s Word!

Just a little reminder for tonight: your kids will receive a FREE meal between The Dig and our evening Hope Kids lesson at 6:00 PM! 🍕🌭🍎

And if those growing kiddos are still hungry (because apparently kids have bottomless stomachs 😂), we’ll have more yummy snacks and treats available for purchase if they choose! 🍫🍦

We can’t wait to see all of our Diggers tonight! Bring your friends and get ready to DIG IN! 💛⛏️

Forgiveness is a REALLY big deal to Jesus! ❤️

This week, take some time around the dinner table to talk with your kids about forgiveness. Ask them about a time they needed forgiveness and a time when they needed to forgive someone else.

Then read Psalm 103:12 together and talk about just how completely God forgives us! 🙏

What can we do this week to live our lives God’s way and show that same forgiveness to others? 💛

Turn dinner into a chance to connect, talk about faith, and point your kids toward Jesus! ✨

We’re so excited to announce that we’re having a SOFT OPENING of our HOPE KIDS Snack Shack this Wednesday at 5:30 PM! 🌭🍕🥤🍎

Come a little early before Hope Kids and grab some goodies from Taste of Hope! We’ll have a variety of snacks, meals, sides, and drinks available.

Even better… your purchases help us send our Hope Kids to camp! 🏕️❤️

Have you ever made a mistake so big that you thought there was NO WAY you could ever be forgiven? 💔

This Sunday, HOPE KIDS will learn some incredible GOOD NEWS! 🙌 No matter what we’ve done, God has the power to forgive our mistakes and make things good again. Why? Because He loves us so much that He was willing to sacrifice His only Son for us. ❤️

Let’s help our kids understand that God’s forgiveness is bigger than our mistakes, and His love never gives up on us!

The Dig is starting September 2nd! Use the QR code or the link below to register your kids. Please note that this will be on Wednesday this year. Hope Bus can pick up your kids from school or your home (within Marshfield City Limits). Let us know if you would like for us to pick them up and let the school know as well.

We are very excited to have The Snack Shack after The Dig this year! More info to come but we will have a soft opening for it this Wednesday, August 22nd. Kids will get a FREE entre (Pizza, hot dog, or Nachos) and a side. They will also have a chance to purchase additional snacks and/or candy. All the money will go towards helping kids go to Kids Camp next summer!

🌎 CAN YOU IMAGINE DOING SOMETHING THAT IMPACTS THE WHOLE WORLD?

Last Sunday, we learned about 1 John 2:2 and the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us. ❤️✝️ Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world through His death, burial, and resurrection!

There are things in life that are worth giving up because something better is waiting on the other side. This week, take some time around the dinner table to talk with your kids about sacrifice.

💬 What does it mean to give up something valuable for something better?
💭 What did Jesus give up for us?
❤️ How does knowing about His sacrifice change the way we live?

Let’s keep the conversation going at home and help our HOPE KIDS understand just how BIG God’s love is for them!

🎉 PROMOTION SUNDAY! 🎉

What a special morning celebrating our HOPE KIDS as they move up to the next level! 💙💚

We are so proud of each and every one of our kids and all the growing, learning, friendships, fun, and faith-filled moments they’ve experienced this year. Watching them grow in their relationship with Jesus is such a blessing! 🙏✨

To our 5th graders moving up to Vertical Youth…we are going to miss having you in Hope Kids! 🥹💙 But we are SO excited to see what God has in store for this next chapter of your journey. Keep growing, keep learning, keep serving, and keep putting your faith in Jesus! We’ll always be cheering you on! 💚

And a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our incredible teachers, youth helpers, volunteers, and everyone who gives their time, energy, prayers, and love to make Hope Kids possible. This ministry truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for each of you! ❤️

Here’s to new classes, new adventures, new friendships, and continuing to grow in faith together! 🙌

Have you ever paid for something that wasn’t yours? 🤔

This Sunday during Kids Worship, HOPE KIDS will learn about the ultimate payment. Jesus paying the full price for our sins! ❤️✝️

Kids will discover that Jesus is the One we can put our faith in. What an amazing reminder that we don’t have to earn our way to God! Jesus has already paid it all!
