If you’re grieving, you don’t have to rush past it or explain it away. Scripture gives us the language of lament — an honest cry to God that leads toward trust rather than despair.

🌟 Hope is being stitched into hearts—and shared with the next generation! 🌟

Today at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church's Vacation Bible School, our Children's Counselor, Tonya Cherry, had the privilege of leading the Missions Moment, teaching children about God's work through Threads of Hope and other ministries in Athens, Greece.

❤️ The children learned an important lesson about sharing the Gospel: we are called to both tell people about Jesus and show them the love of Jesus through practical acts of care and compassion.

Through Threads of Hope, women who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing difficult circumstances are finding:
🧵 Safe, meaningful employment
🪡 Sewing skills and vocational training
🤝 Resources and support that help provide for their families, including opportunities for their children to go to school
✨ Hope, dignity, and a fresh start through the love of Jesus Christ

What a beautiful reminder that God's love is not only spoken—it is demonstrated. When we meet practical needs, restore dignity, and walk alongside others, we reflect the heart of Jesus.

We are so thankful for Tonya's heart for children, missions, and Christ-centered ministry. She is helping the next generation understand that they, too, can be the hands and feet of Jesus and make a difference in the lives of others.

What a blessing yesterday was! 🤍

Life Counseling Center Ministries had the privilege of welcoming Lead Pastor Mike Foster and members of the Forcey Bible Church leadership team for lunch, a tour of our counseling center, and a meaningful conversation about how we can partner together to make Christ-centered counseling more accessible to their congregation.

As we shared a meal and toured our offices, we talked about the growing mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual needs facing our communities—and how the local church can be equipped with a trusted counseling resource to care for those who are hurting.

At LCCM, our commitment to every church partner is to provide:

✨ Support that equips pastors and ministry leaders
✨ Compassionate, professional care for individuals, couples, and families
