Life Counseling Center Ministries would like to let our LCCM community know that our Office Administrator will be out of the office from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 31.

In addition, our offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for yesterday’s annual LCCM Counselor Retreat at the beautiful Shrine of St. Anthony. 🌿🙏

It was such a meaningful time of fellowship, reflection, prayer, and encouragement together. We were especially grateful for Brian LoPiccolo from Deep Run Church and his heartfelt and meaningful teaching on Shepherding Our Souls Through the Psalms, with the reminder from Psalm 42 that God nourishes us through memory, meditation, meaning, and hope.

One of the greatest blessings of the day was simply slowing down enough to genuinely connect with one another, pray together, and be refreshed in the work God has called us to.

We are so thankful for each counselor who serves through the ministry of LCCM and for the many people who continue to support and pray for this work. 🤍

Will you pray with us this week? 💛

This Wednesday, the counselors of Life Counseling Center Ministries will gather at the Shrine of St. Anthony for a special Day of Renewal. We are so excited for this time away together to worship, pray, reflect, encourage one another, and draw closer to Jesus.

Last year, we hosted a half-day retreat, and it was such a meaningful time of refreshment and fellowship. This year, we are grateful to spend a full day together filled with singing, teaching, prayer, group reflection, and praying for one another.

We are also thankful to learn from Pastor Brian LoPiccolo of Deep Run Church as he shares with and encourages our counseling team.

Would you join us in praying that this would be a day of renewal for our counselors — a time to rest in Jesus’ love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy? Please pray that the Lord would strengthen and refresh each counselor as they continue serving others through Christ-centered counseling.

A full house. A meaningful conversation. A day we won’t forget.

Life Counseling Center Ministries (LCCM) was honored to partner with Metro Baltimore Seminary (MBS) and BALM (Baltimore Antioch Leadership Movement) for the event “Authentic Humanity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” It truly was a full house—our space filled with thoughtful conversation, learning, and connection around tables of engaged participants.

We’re especially grateful for our Executive Director, Jeff McMullen, who presented on Care of Souls, sharing research and current information on how artificial intelligence is being used today, and helping create space for participants to reflect on their own experiences, concerns, and questions through roundtable discussion.

We also learned from an incredible group of speakers:
• Brian Sandifer – Image of God
• Peter Lee – Workplace Ethics
• Maria Garriott – Authentic Learning
• Robin Barnes – Parenting
• Sabastian Kim – Preaching

Together, we explored important questions about faith, humanity, and how we live well in today’s world. The roundtable discussions were rich, encouraging, and deeply needed.
