Women carry so much. We mother, we nurture, we hold households together, support our husbands, care for others, and often serve as financial providers too. We do it all tired, burnt out and sometimes while we are dealing with our own physical infirmities. We pour out constantly, yet we need a place where we can be poured into—a safe place; a space to feel truly loved, supported, and refreshed in the things of God.
That is exactly what the Living Free Women's Conference has always been about. At LFWC, we find sisters who will build us up, encourage us, pray with and minister to us personally in the presence of the Holy Spirit, and I can't forget, challenge us. That is one of the things that sets LFWC apart from other conferences. We discuss the hard topics, the necessary things that many others gloss over or avoid altogether. We are not afraid to offend with the truth of the Gospel, but we ALWAYS seek to share in an atmosphere saturated with the love and the presence of God. There is no other way!
This year’s theme is Chazak! Be Strong for the Battle. We will focus on putting on the full armor of God, standing unwaveringly with Israel no matter the cost, and preparing our hearts for the return of the King. These are not light topics, discussions or conversations. They are timely, strengthening, and absolutely essential for everyone who calls themselves a follower of Yeshua.
We have heard your hearts — the cost of travel, lodging, registration and food, has become heavy for too many who are already facing real pressures in these crazy times. Because of this, we have made the very difficult decision to make this our very last conference but we want to invite you with open hearts to join us one last time.
Ladies, we need this time together. In a world that pulls us in every direction, this is a rare opportunity to pause, be strengthened, and leave equipped for whatever lies ahead. If the Lord has been stirring your heart, please don't wait. Please don't miss this meaningful milestone. This may be the most important gathering we have ever had.
REGARDING COSTS -we have worked hard to keep costs as low as possible. Like every year, we operate without profit and are subsidized by Ahavat Yeshua, a small Messianic Jewish Congregation in Washington, DC.
This year we are gathering in beautiful Old Town Alexandria,Virginia where we were able to negotiate a much more manageable rate. The hotel and the location are beautiful. All rooms are suites, which makes having roommates more comfortable and lodging more affordable. There are flexible registration options: with 4 meals, 2 meals, or with no meals. While hotel meals are very expensive, I do want to encourage at least the 2 meal plan. Part of the experience is being able to fellowship with the ladies. We are a small family, and the bonds and lasting relationships that form around the table at LFWC are invaluable.
Installment payments are available, but to take advantage of the plan, we encourage you to begin payments now. We also encourage you to reserve your room as soon as possible. You pay when you check in, but the rooms fill very quickly. Parking is $15 per day.
