SERMON
Pentecost: The Fire Still Burns
“God Went to Hell So You Don’t HAVE To”
Pastor Michelle
Sermon takeaway: We often overlook and/or minimize the extent God, in the form of man, committed Himself to traverse a precarious set of circumstances where He becoming Sin rightly ended up in hell. But somehow having become sin, He was found sinless and places a stranglehold on death, hell and the grave! This truth invites us into God’s transformative ability. You may be hellbound, but you can let God change that narrative, you don’t have to go to hell! (v.25-36)

Wednesday, May 27 - Nehemiah 11-13 & Psalm 147
Thursday, May 28 - Esther 1-3 & Ps 148
Friday, May 29 - Esther 4-6 & Ps 149
Saturday, May 30 - Esther 7-10 & Ps 150

Monday, June 1 - Job 4-6 & Ps 2
Tuesday, June 2 - Job 7-9 & Ps 3
Wednesday, June 3 - Job 10-12 & Ps 4

It was interesting to read the full story behind the scripture in our Breakthrough Prayer (Nehemiah 4:6). May we continue building up this old church - and ourselves - growing stronger in faith every day 🙏

Pentecost Sunday: What Does It Mean?
Pastor Michelle
Sermon takeaway: The Day of Pentecost reflects a profound expression of the precarious condition of humanity and the masterful artistry of God. Christ’s disciples are not unlike a heard of cats whom He regathers through gentle admonition, correction of narrative, and missional consolation. Pentecost becomes a day of manifested promise, empowerment of the faithful; a collective transformation we call the CHURCH!
