Please join us in praying for everyone across our state affected by the floods. ๐๐ฟ๐๐พ๐๐ผ
Heavenly Father,
Today we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up every person and every family affected by the devastating floods. Lord, You see the homes that have been damaged, the belongings that have been lost, and the lives that have been turned upside down. For those who feel overwhelmed, afraid, or uncertain about what tomorrow holds, we ask that You surround them with Your presence and bring them comfort.
Lord, be near to those who have lost everything. Give them strength for each moment and peace in the midst of the chaos. Remind them that even when everything around them has been washed away, You are still their refuge, their provider, and their hope. Guide them toward the help they need and place compassionate people around them who will walk beside them in the days ahead.
Father, we pray for every emergency worker, first responder, law enforcement officer, firefighter, medical worker, volunteer, and search-and-rescue team serving on the front lines. Protect them as they work tirelessly to help others. Give them wisdom, strength, endurance, and discernment. Guide their hands and their decisions, and bring them safely home to their families.
We also lift up every church, ministry, nonprofit, community organization, and outreach team that is serving those affected. Give them the resources they need. Multiply their food, supplies, finances, volunteers, and opportunities to serve. Let every act of kindness be a tangible reminder of Your love.
Lord, bring peace where there is fear. Bring hope where there is despair. Bring provision where there is need. Bring healing where there is heartbreak. Open doors for rebuilding, restoration, and new beginnings.
And Lord, let Your people rise up and be Your hands and feet in these communities. May churches become places of refuge, compassion, prayer, and practical help. May communities come together with unity and generosity. Let no one feel forgotten or alone.
We trust You, Lord, even when we cannot understand the circumstances. Be a guiding hand to every person facing an uncertain future. Lead them one step at a time, and remind them that You are with them in the storm.
In the mighty and compassionate name of Jesus, Amen. ๐๐ฟ๐๐พ๐๐ผ
