Dr. Larry Batchelor will celebrate his 36th Pastoral Anniversary on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Greater New Light. Rev. Samuel Johnson of the Sandhill Baptist Church, Jackson, Tennessee, will be the guest speaker. The Marion High School Jazz Band will render selections. Also, a special presentation honoring the late Councilman Don Batchelor will be made. We will have other fun indoor and outdoor activities in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere following Morning Worship. All are welcome.

Mark your calendars...Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m...Please come to enjoy a day of Praise and Worship, dinner and fellowship at Greater New Light Baptist Church, 303 W. 14th Street, Marion. All are welcome. Activities are planned for outdoors, so please feel free to dress down and enjoy! We will have a barbecue cook- off, dinner, bouncy house and games for all. We hope to see you there. Greater New Light will celebrate Dr. Larry Batchelor's 35th Pastoral Anniversary on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Minister Samuel Johnson, Jr., of Sandhill, Tennessee will be our guest speaker. The Marion High School Jazz band will render selections.

We will also have pre-anniversary services on Sunday, September 5th and 12th at 10:00 a.m. Minister Tony Smith of Dayton, Ohio will be our guest speaker for those services.

All are welcome.

Greetings!! In reference to our 50th church anniversary that had been postponed until June of 2021, it has been decided to cancel this celebration due to the continued Covid pandemic and uncertainty of its existence. We will, however, plan to celebrate Greater New Light Baptist Church 55th anniversary in four years, 2025, in the same manner. We will update you as the time draws nearer. May God continue to keep you healthy and safe until then. Blessings!!

From the desk of Dr. Batchelor...Good morning. Hope you are doing well. As mentioned last week, we have begun Morning Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. Also, several of our members have inquired about Cash App services to send their tithes and offerings. We are happy to announce that this is now available. Our Cash App number is: $GNLBC7. Good evening. We will not have Morning Worship this coming Sunday. All services have been canceled until February 21, 2021, at which time we will meet at 10:00 a.m. During the interim, please continue with your weekly readings. We are now on Psalms 4. Please continue with reading the next consecutive chapters over the next several weeks. Also, please pray each day at 5:00 p.m. for the Batchelor family and entire church. You may drop your tithes and offerings off at the church each Sunday between the hours of 10:00-11:15 a.m. Please stay safe and healthy. Wishing you a Happy New Year! Love you!
