Christ the Redeemer Church is a new church in Marietta, Georgia declaring the liberating freedom of the gospel of grace revealed in Jesus Christ.

What a fantastic Sunday! We LOVED celebrating our graduating 5th graders! We believe God is going to use them in BIG ways. 2 Corinthians 13:14 says: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” And we want them to know, as their church, that we love them and we are here for them and know that, as much as we love them and are for them, God, in Jesus Christ, loves them infinitely more.

Join us in praying for these students: Heavenly Father, may your love and peace be with these beloved kids. Give them bravery for this next step in their life. Help them to know how much you love them in Christ, who they are in you, and what it means to hear your voice. Help them to know you are with them and for them. Amen.

And we loved having stop by so we could enjoy a time of fellowship and a sweet treat on the patio after the 11 am service. Thank you, King of Pops!

As Russ shared in our congregation meeting yesterday, we are seeking new volunteers to serve in our children’s ministry, particularly in our teaching age groups (the Twos, Threes, Pre-K, and all elementary age groups) beginning in August. If you are willing to serve, please let Annie know by May 15th.

The rotation frequency is every 6 weeks (during one service time), and you serve alongside a Sunday Sitter who handles procedures like check-in and pick-up as well as any “dirty work” like changing diapers. All curriculum supplies are provided by the church.

We have almost 100 families consistently attending and dropping off on Sunday mornings, so we are asking for at least one parent from each family to serve in the upcoming volunteer year (August 2026 - July 2027) in our children’s ministry. We hope you will join our Redeemer Kids team and speak truths into little hearts on Sunday mornings.

Please note: all volunteers who work with children must submit an application for a background check and complete an online safety course before serving.

We will have a time of fellowship and a sweet treat from King of Pops on the front patio and courtyard area from 12 - 1 pm on Sunday, May 3rd.
If you frequent the 9:15 am service, you are more than welcome to go grab brunch and then return around noon. We hope to see everyone there!

And last but certainly not least, we want you to meet ALL of our AMAZING Sunday sitters so you can put names and faces together! We are so grateful to have these ladies on Team Redeemer! They are familiar, friendly faces for families every week, and we absolutely could not do Sundays without them! We LOVE our Sunday Sitters!

Grateful for no rain, hints of sunshine, and warm(er) weather! Thank you to everyone who made it to our spring picnic and Easter egg hunt this past Sunday. It was so much fun to gather and spend some time together as a church family!

Congratulations to Baker for finding the golden egg!

And a huge thank you to Brian and Katie Sims for hosting!

Our spring picnic and Easter egg hunt is on Sunday, March 29th, from 12:15 pm - 2 pm (weather permitting). Pack a picnic (or pick up lunch on the way) for our church-wide fellowship event at the home of Brian and Katie Sims (DM us for the address, or you can find it in the March newsletter). Be sure to bring a blanket or chairs for seating.

Parents: Please bring a dozen eggs (filled with small prizes or nut-free candy) for each child who will participate in the egg hunt. Parents will hide eggs during lunch before the egg hunt starts at 1:30 pm.

Parking: Please park in the grass along the front pasture. Try to park perpendicular to the fence line/road to allow more cars to be able to park.

There is a short walking distance from the road (approximately a football field), so a few cars can park at the house, but there is extremely limited space to turn around in the driveway.

On Sunday, April 5th, join us at our regular service times of 9:15 or 11 am to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Childcare will be available for Babies through 2nd Grade.

As Pastor Scotty Smith says, “The Resurrection is God’s ‘Amen!’ to Jesus’s ‘It is finished!’”

We hope you will join us on Easter Sunday!

Women of Redeemer, you are invited to join us for an evening retreat on Friday, March 13th, from 6 - 9 pm.

We are thrilled to welcome speaker Janelle Nobles, who will share what it means to deepen our walk with Jesus and know Him more personally, as well as Caroline Fidell, who will lead us in worship.

Come enjoy a meaningful evening of fellowship, encouragement, and renewed faith alongside other women in our church family.

Registration is $20 per person and includes a catered dinner.

March 5th is the LAST DAY to register, so visit the Redeemer website to secure your spot for this special evening! We would love for you to join us!

We would love to offer another opportunity for children, Kindergarteners through 5th Graders, to sing in the Children’s Easter choir at both services on Palm Sunday (March 29th). Please sign up on the calendar page of our website if your child(ren) would like to participate.

Please sign up by Sunday, February 22nd, if you know your children can attend most practices, the final rehearsal, and both performances (9:15 and 11 am on 3/29). All Practices will be held at the church on Sundays at 9:15 am every Sunday in March, with the exception of March 8th. On Palm Sunday, children will need to be at church at 8 am for rehearsal.

We’re looking forward to marking this Holy day with worship, and hope your child(ren) will join us!
