Join us for Easter Sunday. Services are at 8:30 and 11am. Sunday school is at 9:45 to 10:45am. The nursery will be open for extended hours from 8:15am to 12:15pm. You are invited to bring fresh blooms — purchased or from your yard — to decorate the cross. Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday is the most important day of the Church Year. Sunday we celebrate that “He is Risen!” Indeed, he has conquered death and sin by rising from the dead.

Why have you forsaken me? At the end of the Maundy Thursday service, the final act of the service was the stripping of the worship space of paraments, pastors' stoles, and the Christ light. The stark, bare, unadorned Sanctuary now reflects Jesus' abandonment during the night of betrayal and the arrest at Gethsemane. It will remain bare until Easter morning. The service ended with the entrance of the crown of thorns in the darkened Sanctuary. The congregation departed in silence. The full service is available on Facebook or YouTube.
