Jesus showed that God made us with worth, as seen in this week’s Bible story from Matthew 19 and Mark 10. People were bringing their children to Jesus, hoping He would bless them. But when the disciples rebuked them, Jesus grew upset. He invited the children to come to Him, saying that the kingdom of God belongs to them.

Kids can know that God made them with worth right here and now. Find times this week to tell your kids, “You are so loved and valued!” Do this at random times (not when your kids do something special) so kids know their value is not in what they do but who they are.

Our Game Changer Bible story from Psalm 139 taught kids that God leads us to true identity. A king named David wrote that God knows everything about us because He made us. God leads us to true identity because He knows who we are and who we are meant to be.

At mealtimes this week, talk about all the different things that make members of your family special. Remind family members that God knows them and leads them to be who He made them to be.
