They continue to be on sale at all of our churches after Mass and at the Rectory in Margate.

**Ticket sales end on Thursday, September 10th!**
If you haven't done so, be sure to buy them soon!

Our annual raffle is a 50/50 prize with the parishioners’
portion spread among 5 winners and is the only dedicated “annual fundraising event” Holy Trinity Parish holds each year, with all proceeds directly benefiting our parish.

The drawing of our lucky winners will take place at:
5:00PM - Saturday, September 12, 2026, at St. James Hall in Ventnor *(following the 4:00PM Mass).

**OCIA INSTRUCTION BEGINS!**
Are you interested in becoming Catholic?
Maybe you still need to receive all of your Sacraments of Initiation.

OCIA classes begin for the 2026/2027 Liturgical year on
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.
They continue every Monday, same time, ending shortly before the Easter Vigil on Saturday evening, March 27, 2027.
**Open to all individuals 15 and older!**

Classes are held at LEEDS HALL (Behind Blessed Sacrament Church in Margate- the small building situated between the Blessed Sacrament Rectory & the Convent).

Come ask questions and discover the path to full initiation into the Catholic Church.

OCIA, or The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults. What is it?
It is the Church's process of welcoming newcomers into full communion with the Catholic Church.
The OCIA program involves not just the newcomer or "inquirer" but all the members of the community who by prayer and personal example help the inquirer find his or her place in the Church.

Following Mass last Saturday, on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, parishioners of Holy Trinity Parish processed to the 29th Street beach in Longport for the Blessing of the Sea.

TODAY: August 22nd, we celebrate the Memorial of the Queenship of Mary.

Revelation 12 describes "a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars"

John Paul II, in his apostolic letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae writes of this Glorious Mystery of her Coronation:
“Christ was raised in glory to the right hand of the Father, while Mary herself would be raised to that same glory in the Assumption, enjoying beforehand, by a unique privilege, the destiny reserved for all the just at the resurrection of the dead. Crowned in glory – as she appears in the last glorious mystery – Mary shines forth as Queen of the Angels and Saints, the anticipation and the supreme realization of the eschatological state of the Church.”
