As a historical church founded in 1714 we are blessed to still be active and listening to God's call.

All the Halloween shenanigans in run three days this year, and we put all the need-to-know info in one spot. The St. Michael's Church Spooktacular is tonight from 4 to 7 p.m., downtown trick-or-treating closes Washington Street to cars this afternoon and police recommend Saturday trick-or-treating from 5 to 8 p.m. 🎃👻🧙‍♀️🪄 Link in first comment.

We are thrilled to welcome Fr. Patrick Gray and his family as our Priest-in-Charge. We look forward to working with him to continue our existing ministries and create new ones! Thank you, Marblehead Independent, for the article.

St. Michael's Episcopal Church has called the Rev. Patrick T. Gray as its new Priest in Charge, effective Oct. 1. Gray spent 16 years as rector of Christ Church in Hamilton-Wenham — and the parish says "I am delighted and deeply grateful" is his take on the call. Link 🔗 in first comment.

St. Michael's Episcopal Church is very pleased to welcome the Reverend Patrick Gray as Priest-in-Charge, along with his wife, Naomi Gray, and their two children, Ezra and Eleanor.

As we prepare for this new chapter in the life of St. Michael’s, we would like to share a little about Fr. Gray and the experience he brings to our parish. He comes to us following more than
sixteen years as Rector of Christ Church, Hamilton-Wenham, and seven years before that as Associate Rector and Curate at the Church of the Advent in Boston.

Please join us when Fr. Gray celebrates his first service with us on October 4th at 10 am followed that evening at 5 pm by Evensong.

The 2026 St. Michael's Episcopal Church Lunch returns on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, bringing together great food, live music, and a cause that truly matters. Picture a summer afternoon with fresh lobster, jazz on July 3 drifting across the lawn from Obscure Notation, intimate chamber music inside, and guided tours of a historic church all weekend long.

This isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience with purpose. Every lobster roll and meal purchased helps fund a school in Haiti and supports local charities right here in our community.

Come for the lobster, stay for the music, and leave knowing you made a difference.
