Holly Saturday is a day of a quiet reflection as we wait and hope at the Tomb of the Lord.
In the evening, We Gather for the Easter Vigil - the most sacred Liturgy of the Church - where we celebrate the Triumph of light over darkness and life over death.

Good Friday is a solemn day of prayer and reflection on the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through His sacrifice on the Cross, we are reminded of the depth of God’s love and mercy for all.
Let us enter into this sacred time with reverence, fasting, and prayer.

Święcenie pokarmów - Wielka Sobota
The blessing of the Food - Holy Saturday

The traditional Easter Basket for Holy Saturday is filled with a variety of symbolic foods that represent the Christian faith and the joy of the Easter feast. Here's what you should include in your Easter Basket:
Decorated hardboiled eggs: Represent Christ's Resurrection.
Lamb-shaped butter or sugar: Symbolizes Christ as the "Lamb of God."
Bread: Reminds us of Jesus as the "Bread of Life."
Meats: Such as ham, sausage, or lamb, representing God's great abundance and joy.
Salt: Symbolizes prosperity and justice, reminding us of being "the salt of the earth."
Cheese: Represents moderation in all things.
Horseradish, pepper, oil, and vinegar: Symbolize the Passion of Christ and the bitter herbs of the Passover.
Wine: Symbolizes the Blood of the Lord.
These items are placed in a decorated basket, often lined with a white cloth and covered with white linen, to symbolize the shroud in which Christ's body was wrapped. The basket is then blessed by the priest, who sprinkles holy water and incense, invoking God's blessings upon the food. The blessed foods are not consumed immediately but are part of the Easter Sunday meal, marking the end of the Lenten fast

Holy Thursday (Mass of the Lord’s Supper)

As we begin the sacred Paschal Triduum, we commemorate Holy Thursday—the night of the Lord’s Supper.

On this day, Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood, and gave us a profound example of humility through the washing of the feet.

May we be inspired to serve one another in love, following the example of Christ.
