✨ Staff Highlight: Meet Lisa! ✨

We’re excited to introduce someone very special to the Miriam House family: Lisa Hale, our dedicated sobriety counselor!

Lisa's smile brightens up a room, and her laughter and joy are contagious.

For years, Lisa has walked alongside our students, listening and giving them tools to heal. She brings encouragement during difficult moments, loves our ladies and helps them build strong foundations for lasting recovery.

Lisa’s heart for service and belief in second chances has impacted many lives, and we are SO grateful for the care and guidance she pours into the Miriam House ladies.

Thank you, Lisa, for being a trusted counselor and source of hope to so many women on their journey toward healing and restoration.

We are grateful for their sacrifice, their courage, and the freedoms we are blessed to have each day.

Miriam House had such a fun day on Saturday! We were able to hang with our friends at Rooted in Christ Recovery Church and hear testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Then we joined in the making of a music video featuring Jacob Johnston, & Nicky Gracious. It was a great experience! We can’t wait to see the finished product. We continue to pray for our brothers that their ministry of music reaches many with the gospel!

✨️Volunteer Highlight✨️

Today we want to take a moment to recognize Leah! While many know Leah for her involvement in real-estate and service at First Assembly of God in McMinnville, we are SO grateful for her faithful service at Miriam House. For years Leah has led devotions, keeping it raw and real for our ladies. As they say: "She doesn’t blow smoke or sugarcoat anything!" She’ll tell it like it is … then may lean back, take a sip of coffee and remind the the girls to “Think about it”.

In the middle of a demanding career and busy schedule, she continues to make time to pour into others. Her willingness to show up, listen and pray is not taken for granted.

Thank you, Leah, for all you do for Miriam House and our community. We appreciated you!

This Mother’s Day weekend was full and beautiful at Miriam House. Several students where blessed to to have their children join them for worship at Canvas Community Church, while others connected with their children and loved ones by phone.

There is something incredibly powerful about watching mothers teach their children how to worship the Lord. Generations are being changed as these women pursue healing, restoration, and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

At Miriam House, we believe recovery is about more than freedom from addiction—it is about restoring families and raising up mothers who will lead their children in the ways of God. Generational dysfunction and sin began to break while generational blessings begin to activate!

What a precious reminder this Mother’s Day that God is redeeming not only individual lives, but entire family legacies. 💐❤️
