Got a dirty car? Let our students take care of it while supporting a great cause!

Join us on Saturday, July 18, 2026 in front of Manchester First Methodist Church as our ROOTS (Children’s Ministry) and Reveal at MFMC (Youth Ministry) students wash vehicles to help raise funds for the next generation.

This fundraiser will help us continue the renovation and transformation of our children’s and youth ministry classrooms, creating welcoming, engaging, and Christ-centered spaces where kids and students can grow in their faith for years to come.

A seed was planted...

And today—we're finally sharing it.

We are officially launching something new for our children at Manchester First Methodist Church:

ROOTS at MFMC.

This video isn't just a vision... It's the beginning of what God is growing.

ROOTS is who we are becoming:

R – Respect

O – Obeying

O – Overflowing

T – Thankful

S – Serving

A ministry for those entering Kindergarten through 5th grade where children are known...
loved...
discipled...
and prepared for what's next.

Because before anything can grow... it has to be rooted.

🌱 Here's what this includes:

• ROOTS Grow – Wednesday night gatherings where kids learn, grow, and have fun together

• ROOTS Sunday – Sunday morning environments designed specifically for children to grow in their faith

• ROOTS with REVEAL – Monthly service opportunities where our children learn that even the smallest hands can make a big impact

• ROOTS Big Screen – Monthly movie nights filled with popcorn, candy, friends, and fun

• ROOTS Camp – A true camp experience focused on faith, friendships, and unforgettable memories

• ROOTS VBS – A high-energy week centered on learning about God together

• ROOTS Ready – Our back-to-school kickoff celebration

• ROOTS Receive – A Christmas celebration focused on the greatest gift ever given

• ROOTS Weekends – Special Friday and Saturday events designed to build relationships and deepen faith

• ROOTS Repotting – Celebrating our 5th graders as they transition into the next season of growth through REVEAL

This is more than a name change.

This is a foundation.

We're creating a place where children don't simply come to be watched...

They come to be formed.

To learn who God is.
To discover who they are.
And to begin living that out every day.

WHAT. A. NIGHT.

Our End of School Bash was absolutely incredible! Good food, amazing fun, and even better fellowship filled the night from beginning to end. We laughed hard, competed hard, and watched friendships continue to grow all throughout the evening. Prizes were won, barriers were broken down, and memories were made — all in the name of Jesus!

From our kids and youth to parents, grandparents, and church family, we are so thankful for everyone who came, served, donated, prayed, and helped make the night so special. Nights like this remind us how blessed we are to do life together as a church family.

We already can’t wait to do it again!

What a joy it has been to watch each of you learn, grow, laugh, and shine throughout this season of life. From little hands learning big things to hearts growing in faith, you have reminded us daily of God’s love, joy, and purpose.

We are so proud of each of you and the amazing young leaders you are becoming. As you begin this next chapter, we pray that God continues to guide your steps, strengthen your hearts, and fill your lives with kindness, courage, wisdom, and faith.

Always remember — you are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and capable of incredible things through Christ.

WEATHER UPDATE — THE END OF SCHOOL BASH IS STILL ON!

We’ve been watching the forecast, and regardless of the weather, the fun is continuing!

If needed, we’ll simply move everything inside the Fellowship Hall — but either way, we’re still gathering for food, fellowship, and a movie night together as we celebrate the end of another school year and kick off summer!

If you would like to help provide food items such as hot dogs, buns, sides, chips, drinks, or desserts, please call the church office at 931-728-4624 or email [email protected] so we can help prevent duplicate items.
