Tanner's House Ministries Tanner's House Ministries is devoted to pursuing the heart of God and lovingly helping others find their way.

Tanner's House Ministries was founded by retired Firefighter/Paramedic now Pastor Tim Stevens. A turning point in the early Christian church was during the time the Apostle Peter stayed at the home of Simon the Tanner while in Joppa. From there Peter's ministry expanded greatly as the church reached out in whole new directions. This story in the book of Acts is the inspiration for Tanner's House M

inistries. The home of Simon the Tanner still stands in the port city of Joppa. It is a family home that has also functioned as a lighthouse for several decades. The current owners see many visitors each year familiar with the account of Peter's stay there.
