North Carolina is lined with megachurches.

Big buildings. Big crowds. Big screens. Some of them have PA systems worth more than this entire church.

And there ain’t a thing wrong with that.

But there’s something special about a little country church.

A little congregation in a little town that gathers every Sunday without a coffee shop in the lobby or a light show behind the pulpit.

Just some pews. A piano. A preacher. A few old hymnals.

Folks who know who usually sits where.

Folks who notice when somebody ain’t there.

Folks who still bow their heads and praise the Lord the same way their grandparents did.

You don’t need a building that seats 5,000 people to fill a place with faith.

The Lord ain’t counting square footage.

He’s there wherever His people gather in His name.

Bigger churches don’t get bigger blessings.

Smaller churches don’t get smaller ones.

A steeple don’t have to scrape the sky for a prayer to reach Heaven.

All it takes is folks showing up, gathering together, and calling on His name.

The rest is just real estate.

We would like to thank Gerald Morris for his message today reminding us to not let anything stop us from sitting our problems at Jesus's feet.

God blessed us with a great VBS. Looking forward to next years.

Don’t let your faith end at the church doors.

The world doesn’t need more people who simply attend services. It needs people who carry the heart of Jesus into everyday life.

Be the Church in the way you speak.
In the way you forgive.
In the way you love people who can offer you nothing in return.

Because sermons can inspire people for a moment,
but a life that reflects Christ can impact someone forever.

So after the final song ends and the lights go off,
keep preaching the Gospel with the way you live.

Be the Church beyond the walls. 🤍🙏🏻
