Today, our church family pauses to thank God for the women who bless our lives in countless ways. Some of you step into this day with joy that fills the room. Others walk in quietly, carrying memories that still sting or hopes that feel heavy. And some of you are simply trying to breathe through a day that brings more emotion than you expected. The Lord sees every heart.
We celebrate the mothers who give of themselves day after day, even when no one is watching. We celebrate the women who have opened their homes and arms through adoption or fostering, and those who have become spiritual mothers through prayer, encouragement, and steady faith. Your influence reaches farther than you know.
We also hold close the women who face this day with sorrow. Some are grieving a mother they miss deeply. Some are grieving a child they loved fiercely. Some are waiting for the child they’ve prayed for, and that waiting has become its own kind of ache. Others carry stories that rarely get spoken aloud. You are not walking alone.
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)
May the Lord comfort, strengthen, and surround every woman He has placed within our church family.
