From Kelli Ball of the Limestone Creek Ward:

“I love the Easter season. Easter is my favorite holiday. It is also the most important event in human history in which we celebrate, the atoning sacrifice and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m reminded of a story of a town in France that has a statue of Christ where the hands have been broken off. Rather than repair the statue, the townspeople decided they wound become the Savior’s hands with acts of service, assistance and blessing the lives of each other. I am frequently reminded of these people as I look at the small Christus statue in my own home. Over the years, with four children being raised in our home, the hands and fingers of the statute have been broken several times, I have left the damaged statue as it is as a reminder to me to be more Christlike to those around me and serve as He would and to be his hands in my own home and neighborhood.”
