“Making a Difference”

Contrary to popular belief this Love surpasses the commonality of what we call Love, it supersedes the natural and encompasses the Supernatural, it's a love that understand hurt, suffering, disappointment yet sacrifices prestige, power, comfort in order to truly be expressed.

Our world is filled with brokenness, heartache, sadness, prejudice, hatred, contempt, bitterness, animosity, and hostility. Tensions are high, Emotions are on edge, Relationships are breaking down, the governmental system has failed, medical reliability failed, security and stability is crumbling. Violence, war, sickness, disease, and unrest are mere indicators that things in this world are not the way they are supposed to be.

Political, racial, judicial, and economic divide have people separated in ways that seem to be an unsurmountable task of ever having unity and peace again.

Economic trade wars, tariffs, taxes, deportations, social security threatened, Medicare in peril, people left to starve and fend for themselves, plagues that were once under control are being allowed to run rampant and the love of many has simply gone.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you”.

This is hard because people are going to hurt you, now this doesn’t mean be a whipping post for someone, but people will hurt you emotionally with insults, names, and degrading remarks. Some will even hurt you physically and slap you, but you must forgive and turn the other cheek.

Now understand that is hard, and it takes the Holy Ghost to Love like this because if someone slaps you our natural reaction is to slap them back. However, we must understand we are dealing with a people that have been destroyed by an unnatural way of life, afflicted by sin, bothered with oppression, anxiety, stress, mistrust, confusion because of sin therefore our Love must be SUPER-NATURAL in order to affect the afflicted and Love like Jesus Loved.

"Great Expectations"

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the thoughts I have toward you, thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” I want to pour you out a blessing so great that you don’t even have room to receive it all, but you must have the 3 elements.

1... You must ask it the name of Jesus.

2... You must be obedient to His Will and His Word.

3...You must have the spirit of expectancy.

What is faith - it is the Spirit of Expectancy. I’m expecting a miracle everyday. If you want God to do something in your life in 2023, if you want to go to another level, if you want healing, deliverance, happiness, financial freedom, if you want that house, that job, that husband saved, that wife saved. Then baby get hold of the spirit of expectancy, be obedient to His Word and say like the Clark Sisters said I Expect a Miracle Everyday.

" Spiritual Erosion"

What an exciting day to be alive. Opportunities around us abound. The darker the night the greater the light. Beware of the undermining of the truth and our faith. Watchman what of the night? Erosion is a slow gradual destruction. This erosion will slowly wear away the very foundations on which Jesus has built HIS CHURCH... Beware of This Undermining of Truth. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. THERE IS A SPIRUTAL SLEEP THAT WILL DOMANATE THE WHOLE SOCIETY... At one time we called CHINA THE SLEEPING GIANT...Today a spirit of sleep comes over the nations and the church. Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. SLEEPING SAINTS PAY DEARLY. SAMSON: got his hair cut while sleeping in the lap of sin. Sleeping saints. SISERA: The mighty victorious general killed by JAEL --- a glass of milk and a tent stake to the head. SLEEPING? BEWARE: SIGNS OF THE TIMES ARE EVERYWHERE...For the Bible says in 2 Timothy Chapter 3, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. PERILOUS: possibility of death, danger, hurt, bad, unpleasant,hazardous, dangerous, risky, unhealthy, unsafe. SPIRITUAL EROSION WILL UNDERMIND THE TRUTH AND THE CHURCH. Be faithful and pray and study your Bible as never before. Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Will you be like the 5 foolish virgins and miss the Lord's return? Keep your lamp full with the oil of the Holy Spirit and your globe clean.

" Seize The Moment"

A young soldier and his commanding officer got on a train together. The only available seats were across from an attractive young women who was traveling with her grandmother. As they engaged in pleasant conversation, the soldier and the young woman kept eyeing one another; the attraction was obviously mutual. Suddenly the train went into a tunnel and the car became pitch black. Immediately two sounds were heard: the “smack” of a kiss, and the “whack” of a slap across the face. The grandmother thought “I can’t believe he kissed my granddaughter, but I’m glad she gave him the slap he deserved.” The commanding officer thought, “I don’t blame the boy for kissing girl, but it’s a shame that she missed his face and hit me instead.”

The young girl thought, “I’m glad he kissed me, but I wish my grandmother hadn’t slapped him for doing it.” And as the train broke into the sunlight, the soldier could not wipe the smile off his face. He had just seized the opportunity to kiss a pretty girl and slap his commanding officer and had gotten away with both. There will be defining moments in our life that will forever change us. Moments that will inspire us. Moments that will hurt us. Moments that will change the course of our lives. God has an amazing plan for your life! He has given you abilities, talents, and gifts that can be used for Him. God wants you to do something HUGE for him - God is rooting for you more than you think.

I remember when I was playing basketball for Carver High School. I was running the suicides – 30 yard dashes back and forth multiple times. I recently injured my ankles. I was being outrun by the fattest, slowest guard. Coach Hickman was next to me screaming, “You can make it Cummings. Don’t ever quit.” God is right next to each of you yelling, “You can make it. Don’t ever quit.” Do something that is destined to fail unless God gets involved. Two hunters named Sam and Jed decided to head for the hills and make some money capturing wolves. Day and night they scoured the mountains and forests searching for their valuable prey.

Exhausted after three days of hunting without any success, they both fell asleep. During the night, Sam suddenly woke up to find that he and Jed were surrounded by a pack of fifty wolves, with flaming red eyes and bared teeth, snarling at the two hunters and preparing to pounce. Sam nudged Jed and said, "Hey, wake up! We’re gonna be rich!" PERSPECTIVE … real opportunity only comes when you have a DEFINING MOMENT WITH GOD!

"Are You Ready for a Revolution"

According to Webster’s Dictionary a Revolution is: an overthrow or repudiation a thorough replacement of an established system, a sudden, radical, or complete change, an activity or movement designed to effect fundamental changes, it is a change of paradigm (which is a change in the way of thinking). Many will call it a rebellion, which is opposition to one in authority or dominance. In our history there have been several revolutions which have taken place. In 1755 the American Revolution started which developed this countries independence from the authority and dominance of England. The Industrial Revolution, which started in the early 1800’s has changed and continues to change the way we operate. The Civil Revolution changed the way people our treated.

There is a shift that is taking place in the body of Christ. This shift is simply the mighty hand of God trying to wake up the church to more effective in getting the Word of God to the people of the world and bring many sons unto glory. This shift in the body of Christ has respectively been called a spiritual revolution. And because of this title that is sweeping through the body of Christ there is a division within the body. You have those that want change called revolutionaries and those that are content in their comfort zones called the resistance. Regardless the side you are on the question is “Are you ready for a Revolution? First of all it’s personal. I’m not talking about a new age change. I’m not talking about a cliché. I just want to know are you ready to radically change the established system.

Are you ready to oppose the one in authority or dominance. Remember revolution is an overthrow or repudiation a thorough replacement of an established system. In order for there to be a revolution there must be a revolutionary. A Revolutionary is one that brings about a change it is one that literally turns the world upside down. So this principality caused an up-roar from some evil men. They began to us as men that can turned the world upside down – we are they that caused a revolution – they have come hither also. That demonic spirit knew that these men were going to oppose the establish system that had control of that area. It knew that they were revolutionaries. We are on the battlefield fighting for the Lord.

Are you ready for a Revolution. Are you tired of doing the same old thing and getting the same old results? Are you tired of the principalities having control of your life? Are you ready to fight a good fight? Are you tired of having church as usual? Are you tired of being stuck in a spiritual rut? Are you tired of doing church instead of being effective? Are you tired of coming here bound and going home the same way? Are you tired of the devil running over you? Are you willing to be a freedom fighter? If you said yes then you need to be part of the revolution. The President of the United States will not discuss the ramifications of this Revolution. However This revolution will liberate your life. This revolution will heal your heart. This revolution will save your soul. This revolution will open your opportunities. This revolution will tear down traditions. This revolution will eradicate your eternity.
This revolution will determine your destiny.

This revolution will perfect your praise. This revolution will solidify your salvation. This revolution will convict your conscience. This revolution will tantalize your transformation. This revolution will revitalize your reconciliation. This revolution will renew your restoration. This revolution will release your revelation. Are you ready for a Revolution? My mind goes to the woman with issue of blood. Her life was controlled by a principality of sickness. For 12 long years it had authority and dominance over her life. She was opposed to being bound. So she became a revolutionary. She radically changed her way of thinking – she had a paradigm shift. She caused a revolution and because of that revolution she changed her destiny.

"Don't Let The Green Grass Fool You"

This word is about how we can get so caught up looking at and desiring something that someone else has that we fail to walk in the blessings that God has already given us. Some of you are old enough to remember the song with this title. Let me quote the first verse of this song to you: “Girl, try to remember when we didn't have no shoes we stuck together, just me and you. It took a long time, to get what we got today, now ya wanna give it all up for another guy. Baby, I'm tellin' ya don't let the green grass fool ya, don't let it change your mind.” In this song a woman was leaving a man who had been with her when they had nothing for another man who had not gone through life’s struggles with her.

We see that often when a man or woman married young and then decide that the person they “grew up” with needs to be traded in for a younger model. Remember what Solomon said in Proverbs chapter five about rejoicing with the wife of your youth? There is a reason for that advice! Also, if you recall from the Old Testament, this is the issue that God often had with the Children of Israel. He had brought them through everything and yet they continued to be fooled by the green grass of those around them to the point that they forgot what He had done for them! God said that they had committed adultery against Him when they desired the lifestyles of those around them and seeking their idols.

If you are looking at the life of someone else and thinking that their grass is greener than yours I want you to consider what you are feeding your grass? What fertilizer are you using? How often are you watering it? Do you know what your neighbor is doing to get his grass to be so green? When you examine your life, do you delight in God’s word? Are you feeding your spiritual being with something other than the fast food of this world? When we look at the lives of others we see the surface. We see what has been produced by the roots that are hidden. Sometimes that surface portrays something that looks strong but in reality has very poor roots that in a storm cannot sustain the tree.

We have seen this with trees being uprooted during storms because their root system was not enough to keep them planted. This is the image that I want you to visualize. Are you a tree that is planted by the waters whose root system is so vast that you have a constant supply of food and is able to withstand the hurricane force winds or are you a tree whose root system is close to the surface and are in need of reaching deeper? God’s word allows us to reach deeper and become that tree that is planted by the waters always yielding fruit. Don’t let the green grass of this world fool you – remember who you are and Who’s you are!

"BREAKING LIMITATIONS "

Our ability to perform well depends largely on the power and resources available to you. Every human being will be faced with the reality of insufficient resources in the face of a pressing need at one point or the other. Hence, economists advise us to forgo certain alternatives, and draw up a scale of preference on our needs. Man’s limitations have caused the introduction of certain words and phrases into our vocabulary, such as: impossible, cannot, too late, irreversible, etc. All these reflect our state of human limitation and incapacity. Even God recognises man’s limitations. Psalms 103:14 says: “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

Our natural frailty and limitation is exposed in today’s Bible reading, where man is described as grass that withers easily. Also, Bildad the Shuhite describes man as a frail worm in Job 25:6: “How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?” It is therefore evident that as long as we are confined within our natural sphere, human beings remain seriously limited. However, God is not limited. He declared in Jeremiah 32:27 thus: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”

Since He owns the Heavens and the earth and everything in them, and because He has all power, He is able to do all things. He does not accommodate limiting words in His vocabulary like men do. How then can we break the yoke of limitation in our lives? It is by being connected to the only One who cannot be limited. When such a link is in place, whatever cannot limit God cannot limit you. What cannot stop God cannot stop you. This is because you have become a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). But you must renew your mind to walk in this reality.

To this end, it is necessary to re-examine your vocabulary and delete all limiting words from it. You are what you think; your mindset determines your reality. Many people who had the potential of reaching great heights in their lifetime were stopped by their wrong belief system and limited mindset. You would be amazed to know that what witchcraft cannot stop can be stopped by the limiting thoughts you hold about yourself. Beloved, from now on, do not limit yourself. Rather, believe everything God says about you and confess it. Speak God’s Word over that impossible situation, and you shall see it change to conform to your confessions.

Today is the Birthday, my daughter such a proud wife and mother looking at my daughter�growing to be a lovely and beautiful young lady.� I hope that God will grant you success in your dreams and plans.� The time may be changing but you are the same loving caring that I have no words left to frame. “We Better Check Ourselves –Before We Wreck Ourselves”

"If you put the United States up against the Scriptures, we're in trouble. I think we're very close to the judgment of God." "The problem of America is not unbelievers; the problem of America is the people of God. There are just as many divorces and abortions in the churches as outside the churches. George Barn did a survey of 152 separate items comparing the lost world and the churches, and he said there's virtually no difference between the two. Our gospel is canceled by the way we live."

"The only thing that's kept America from going haywire worse than it has is the presence of Christian community. We're still salt and light, but when the salt loses its saltiness, there's nothing to restrain evil in America. And right now the salt has lost its saltiness. It is not effecting the preserving of America. "So I've always said if things get darker in America, the problem is not with the darkness--it's just acting according to its nature. The problem is with the light. The light no longer dispels the darkness. All the way through the Bible, judgment came on the nation when God's people would not return unto Him."

Right now I believe God's people don't even think they've departed. In Jesus' day they were practicing religion to the limit. God's people were religious, but Jesus announced, 'You've never even realized the time of God's coming to you. So your destruction is certain.' He wept over Jerusalem, saying, 'If only you...had known...' (Lk. 19:41)." "My heart is very, very, very heavy about the day in which we live, primarily because people do not even recognize that they have moved from what God wants them to be. The question for every Christian to ask is not, 'Am I fulfilling my job description?' but 'Is my life making a difference?'

I don't want to keep living and not making a difference! We need to examine our walk with God. We need to be able to say, 'Father, I've sinned. I've lived without my life making any difference.' Now can God rectify this? He's an expert at it! That's why Jesus said in His prayer, 'I don't pray for the world; I pray for these because as go these, so goes the redemption of the rest of the world.' So God's attention right now is on His own people, and if I gave one statement it would be, 'The future of America rests in our hands.'"

“Chill And Be Still”

In relating this story I am in no way offering medical advice! My Godmother grew up in an era when chiropractors were thought of as quacks. And just to be clear, “quack” was not a term of endearment. Public opinion has changed and so has hers. For a long time now we have enjoyed the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. It certainly can’t cure every ailment but it can do some things that other medical treatments cannot.

She had a long history of sciatic pain issues but in the last few years her right hip and gluteus maximus have been a major pain in the butt (pun intended)! Her chiropractor has suggested a variety of stretches and even a few natural supplements that act as muscle relaxers. But he got her attention when he told her to go…sit on some ice!
Go sit on what? Yep… ice.

It sounds counterintuitive. She ask him if my muscles are tight wouldn’t I want to sit on a heating pad? That’s what my mom always did. Heat has its place but when muscles and other soft tissue get inflamed they swell and the best thing for swelling is ice. She told me that she had be to honest. The first time she sat her right butt check on an ice pack she was skeptical and had little expectation that it would help. And… she was wrong! She will likely always wrestle with sciatic pain when she overexert her body but now she have another weapon in the arsenal of dealing with it. She literally chill out with an ice pack! The same dynamic applies when life gets busy.

We tend to think that the more we have to do the faster we need to go. The problem is that the list of things “to do” typically only gets bigger and bigger. So how do we keep from burning out? Chill out with God! Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. ~ Psalm 46:10...Be still… Stop… Slow down… Pause… Take a break… Chill…The bad news: You can’t do it all! The good news:

God doesn’t intend for you to do it all! It might sound counterintuitive to be still when we have so much to do, but only when we stop and connect with our Creator can we gain perspective. We need God’s help to sort through it all and focus on those things that will have an eternal impact. So take some time today to…Chill out with God!
