Do you realize we are naturally inclined to do wrong, even when we don’t mean to? We easily pick up bad habits and struggle to develop good ones. We learn offensive and dirty words quickly, and they stick in our minds. We also live in ways that displease God despite our strong promises to please Him. Sadly, we think something is wrong with us. The reason is this: we are addicted to sin because we were born into it since the day Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Therefore, we are sinful from the very beginning (womb). We are addicted to sinning! That’s why we tend to do things that satisfy ourselves instead of God.

As a result, we fail to meet God’s standard; therefore, we become his enemies, deserving punishment by death, which is the wages of a sinful lifestyle. The good news is that Christ took our place and bore our punishment on the cross through his suffering and death. He saves us from God’s judgment and eternal separation and offers us a new status: his children and friends, along with the power to live daily to please him. Do you want to live each day to please God and become his friend, son or daughter? Surrender your life to Christ now, and you will not regret it.

Do you feel lonely, think no one loves you, or cares about you? You’re wrong! The Scripture says, God loves you so much that he demonstrates it by sending his one and only Son. To die in your place and save you from God’s judgement, wrath, and eternal damnation, if you will believe in Christ. If God can give his one and only Son to prove he loves you, why will you think no one loves? God loves you so much, regardless of what you’re going through currently. If God gives his Son for you, what else won’t he give you, if you believe in Christ now? Believe in Christ now and be saved!
