Easter passed — but the risen Jesus kept showing up.

He found Thomas in his doubt, Peter in his failure, and five hundred ordinary people going about their lives. And then He sent His Spirit, and nothing was ever the same.

This Sunday, we’re continuing our four-part series called Encounter, tracing the resurrection appearances that carried the first disciples from grief and confusion all the way to Pentecost.

Each week asks the same quiet, persistent question: what happens when the risen Jesus shows up to the real you — not the polished version, but the doubting, failing, ordinary one? Bring your own doubt and questions. They’re welcome here.

The anguish was so real, so visceral. “Take this cup,” he asked. But in the same anxious breath, he said, “not my will but yours.”

If overwhelm is your default these days, anxiety your constant companion, you are not alone.

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus wrestled with the task he’d been given. He was carrying the weight of the world throughout time, and yet he emerged from that garden, resolute.

Join us in the garden this Easter Thursday, as we bear witness to each other—in all our hopes, anguish, and sorrows through the lens of the One who bore it all for each of us.

All are welcome to an exclusive time in beautiful Olbrich Botanical Gardens to walk, listen, pray, and dare to hope again. 🌱

In the midst of all the holiday rush, we pause to remember the gift at the center of it all. A child, born in the most humble of circumstances, who would change everything. God with us. Emmanuel. This Christmas, may you find moments to simply be present to the presence of Jesus, whether in the laughter around your table, the quiet of a pre-dawn morning next to a twinkling Christmas tree, or the wonder in a child's eyes.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Orchard Church. We pray you and your loved ones experience the peace, joy, and love that only Emmanuel can bring.

Do you ever feel like life is moving too fast? That it’s going at a pace too quick for your heart? Us too.

Every season has its gift, and summer’s is one of slowness, ease, and joy. This July, we’re taking a break from social media and limiting our digital communications to give space to receive the beautiful gifts that summer has to offer. We’re calling it Summer Slowdown.

Summer Slowdown is an invitation to intentionally set a Sabbath pace this July. To slow your mind and body, embrace stillness, and listen to the voice of Jesus.

How might this look for you and your family? Is it less screens? None at all? Deleting apps? Unplugging for a few days in nature? Being more spontaneous with your kids?

Whatever you decide, know that the pace of Rabbi Jesus is easy and his burden is light. We invite you to give Jesus enough space in your life that you might experience it.

This Sunday, we’re beginning a brand-new series called Practicing the Way—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We live in a world full of noise, options, and influences—some obvious, some subtle. So many of us are looking for peace, purpose, and transformation… but feel like we’ve drifted off course.

In this series, we’re asking:
🔹 What’s really forming us?
🔹 What does it mean to apprentice under Jesus, not just believe in Him?
🔹 How can we reorder our lives around the One who offers rest, renewal, and real change?
