Today marks one year since our remarkable visionary, Pastor, friend and leader transitioned from this world to be in the presence of the one he dedicated his entire being to! The impact he made on the world, our community, our church and each of us individually will never be forgotten. He didn’t just pastor Greater Hope, but he was the community pastor. When people in our area had a need, he was the go to. A true light in a dark world. He was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter how big the need. Pastor Ron, we will forever honor you, love you and continue to fulfill your vision.

Anyone who knew Pastor Ron, knows he had a love for children and a strong desire to help those in need! Last year, God placed the burden on his heart to donate $50,000 to DSS so that children in foster care could have a Christmas. On the Sunday before his passing, he stood up and declared that we would donate $100,000 this year. You left us with a huge task, but we did it! Thank you to everyone who donated, no matter how big or small the donation. It took EVERYONE’s effort!

The staff at DSS also sang Happy Birthday to Pastor as we gave this gift in his honor today.
