Turnaround Church presents our 1st Annual Vintage Summer Tea/Brunch! ✨ Grab your favorite dresses, hats, pearls, and gloves for a beautiful afternoon of fun, fellowship, and delicious food.

📅 Date: Saturday, June 27th ⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM 📍 Location: The Connection Center – THE STAGED VENUE

✨ What You Need to Do:
1. Reserve your spot! Head over to the foyer to sign up on the sheet for you and your guests or contact Melynda Musselwhite or Teresa Register.
2. Bring your own teacup & saucer! (Each Lady & Girlie). Thrifty finds are always fun! If you need help finding one, just let Teresa know.
3. Sign up to bring a treat! We are looking for dessert and food tray contributions. Please ensure your items are brought on a "ready to serve" tray.

Sunday May 24, 2026 - Memorial Day Service

Today, our church family gathered for a deeply moving Memorial Day service. Together, we paused to honor, remember, and reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by our fallen soldiers. We are profoundly grateful for the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom.

A truly unforgettable highlight of the morning was having the Freedom Tractor on our premises. This powerful, traveling memorial stands as a tribute to the 11,547 service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice from World War II to the present day. Seeing it in person was a solemn reminder of the real faces and stories behind our freedom.

Our Kids Ministry had a wonderful, meaningful morning as well! The children dove into a special Memorial Day lesson, learning about gratitude, honor, and sacrifice. The children were reminded of the greatest love story ever told, how Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross to give us true, eternal freedom. They also got creative by painting stars to commemorate the day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today, to our volunteers, and to Just Allis Farms for the Freedom Tractor for helping us cultivate a heart of remembrance. To all our military families and veterans: we see you, we appreciate you, and we pray for you.

Get your capes ready and prepare to power up, because the ultimate Superhero VBS is coming to Turnaround Church-Tar Heel Rd.! Our theme this year is "Jesus is my Superhero," and we are tracking down all heroes-in-training for three action-packed nights of faith, fun, and epic missions!

• 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Hero Activation: Dynamic Bible lessons, high-energy games, and powerful worship! 💥📖

Honor. Remember. Reflect. Memorial Day Service at Turnaround Church-Tar Heel Rd.

This Memorial Day weekend, Turnaround Church invites you, your family, and our community to come experience a "Turnaround" Church service and a powerful time of remembrance. As we reflect on the profound cost of liberty, we will have The Freedom Tractor at Turnaround Church.

The Freedom Tractor bears the engraved names of 11,547 heroic men and women who have laid down their lives in service to our nation from World War II through to the present day. It stands as a lasting tribute to their legacy and courage.

Following the conclusion of the service, The Freedom Tractor will be open for a special photo opportunity. Whether you want to capture a moment of reflection, take a photo with family, or locate a specific name, we encourage everyone to join us after service.
