* **En:** "We used to save our needs for the Day of Arafah out of absolute certainty that prayers are answered; by Allah, a year never passed except that we saw them answered as clear as the morning light."

> **مشروعية الأضحية | The Ruling of Udhiyah**
> الأضحية سنة مؤكدة للقادر عليها عند جمهور العلماء، وهي شعيرة عظيمة تقربًا إلى الله تعالى في أيام العيد.
> Offering a sacrifice (Udhiyah/Qurbani) is a confirmed Sunnah (Sunnah Mu'akkadah) for whoever has the financial means according to the majority of scholars, serving as a profound act of worship to draw closer to Allah during Eid.

* **إحياء سنة الخليلين:** امتثال لأمر الله تعالى وإحياء لسنة نبينا محمد ﷺ وأبينا إبراهيم عليه السلام.
* **توسعة على الفقراء والمساكين:** إدخال السرور على قلوب المسلمين وتوطيد أواصر التكافل الاجتماعي من خلال تقسيم اللحوم.

> The animal must be healthy and free from obvious defects. It cannot be blindly deficient in one eye, visibly sick, laminatingly lame, or emaciated.
