Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church is a fellowship of believers who share God’s grace and an abiding love for Jesus Christ. We are men, women and children seeking to grow through worship and study, recreation and fellowship, service to others and loving care for one another. Since 1916, our church has grown in its witness to Christ and concern for those around us. We sing God’s praise as w

e reach out in many ways to our neighborhood, our community and the world. The elders, deacons, pastors and members of this church extend to all who are seeking a church home in this community a warm and cordial invitation to unite with this congregation. You may join us by Transfer of Letter, by Reaffirmation of Faith in Jesus Christ or by making a first time Profession of Faith and being baptized if that sacrament has not already been administered. 🎉Preacher for Sunday, Aug. 30🎉- Rev. Dr. Hunter Farrell! B. Hunter Farrell is the Senior Teaching Fellow at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He earned his doctorate in cultural anthropology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and worked for almost forty years as a mission co-worker, director of World Mission for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and a teacher of intercultural studies. Hunter is married to Ruth and they have three children and a granddaughter.

Come join us Sunday as we hear Rev. Dr. Hunter Farrell preach on mission!

⏰Time is running out to RSVP! Come out after worship on August 30 for a lunch and conversation about finding our congregation’s mission focus. Led by Hunter Farrell, friend of the church and author of "Freeing Congregational Mission: A Practical Vision for Companionship, Cultural Humility and Co-Development", we will spend time celebrating Harvey Browne’s history of mission involvement while discerning our way forward.

Over the years he has worn a few different hats – minister (most recently at John Knox Presbyterian), seminary instructor (Adjunct Faculty for Field Ed at LPTS), business owner, and now Global Sales Coaching Leader for Schneider Electric. No matter the role, Roger has remained passionate about helping people grow – whether in faith, leadership, business, or life. Roger believes that the most meaningful work happens through relationships, curiosity, and investing in others.

We’re offering two meeting times—simply choose the one that works best for your schedule!
