# St. Gabriel Volleyball Tryout Information – Fall Season

Please register your child as soon as possible through GameDay:

All tryouts will be held in the **St. Gabriel Gym**.

# # Open Gym Opportunities

We will be hosting open gyms for all players on:

* June 29, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* June 30, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

These sessions are a great opportunity for players to get some extra touches on the ball before tryouts.

# # Tryout Schedule

* **1st/2nd Grade:** July 13, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
* **5th/6th Grade:** July 13, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
* **3rd/4th Grade:** July 14, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
* **7th/8th Grade:** July 14, 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

If your child is unable to attend tryouts, we will still place them on a team.

Uniform fittings will take place during tryouts for all age groups.

# # JK/K Teams

JK/K teams will be formed and balanced by Volleyball Coordinator Susan Butcher and Athletic Director Jamie Pike. No formal tryout is required for this age group.

# # Current Registration Numbers

* **JK/K:** 8 players registered (1 team)
* **1st/2nd Grade:** 21 players registered (2–3 teams)
* **3rd/4th Grade:** 18 players registered (2 teams)
* **5th/6th Grade:** 16 player registered (2 teams)
* **7th/8th Grade:** 21 players registered (2-3 teams)

# # Registration Reminder

Please register your child as soon as possible. Registration numbers directly impact how many teams we can form and how many coaches we need. Early registration helps us properly plan for the season. If registration numbers remain low in certain grade levels, teams may need to be combined with neighboring parishes or may not be formed.
