I've not done a remodel update for a while cause there's not been anything to update cause I've been too busy with everything else. There's been some more of the trim work done inside since I posted last but that's about it.

Today the windows went in though. They look pretty good....except for the things that don't. đŸ˜‘

I think I'm cursed because I truly can't ever hire anything done or make a purchase of something that is actually all done or is like it should be and not tore up and have to be refixed because something is wrong from the get go. I really despise trying to have anything done or get anything cause something will always be wrong with it. It's terribly discouraging. But I digress. Lol. Shew, Lord.

Ministry opportunity: Open church building available - Heltonville, Indiana.

Chapel Hill Pentecostal Church in Heltonville, Indiana currently has no pastor or congregation. The building is currently under the oversight of the board members of the adjacent Chapel Hill Cemetery, but they would ideally like to see someone come in and resume oversight of the church and build a congregation again.

The church was originally established and built in the late 1920s. It's a little country church near the Monroe/Lawrence County line, between Bloomington and Bedford.

The building consists of the sanctuary, a small classroom, small foyer, and bathrooms. There's no debt, but also no other assets or personal property.

It would be an opportunity for someone in the area with a small congregation that is looking for a building to move into, or a preacher with a burden to build up a home mission work.

As a neighboring pastor, I'm just trying to pull on the Pentecostal strings to help the cemetery board look for someone. You can contact me with any general questions. For those with serious inquiry I can put you in contact with the appropriate persons.

Just to make an addendum to the initial post here for clarification purposes. The heritage of the church in question, and my own that I represent, is Oneness, Apostolic, and Holiness. And I know that means different things to different people.

I'm independent myself, and organizational affiliation is irrelevant to me, but speaking for clarity's sake, my doctrinal stances and historically those of Chapel Hill, are in alignment with those of the UPC, ALJC, etc.

If that helps to explain what "flavor" of Pentecost we're talking about. Acts 2:38, Jesus Name baptism, Holy Ghost infilling with initial evidence of speaking in tongues. All that whole nine yards. And outward holiness standards. And again, I know that varies. But I can't in good conscience recommend somebody that is too far outside of my own doctrinal stances.

We don't have to agree on every detail, but it needs to be in the same ballpark.
