Flooding across O'ahu began in March 2026 and has left families displaced, homes damaged, and communities in urgent and immediate need. Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America will partner with the Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters of Hawaii and collect monetary donations through the month of April 2026 to support relief organizations identified by Hawaii Dendocho.

Our faith maintains that we are all brothers and sisters as we seek to help others at all times to strive towards a Joyous Life for all.

At last month's Scriptures Study Session, we did deep dives into the Ofudesaki, Divine Directions, and the Mikagura-Uta / Songs for the Service. We were reminded of the Sing-able, Dance-able Mikagura-Uta that a team of astute ministers like Rev. Marlon Okazaki developed over many years, so we can sing and dance the Service in English!
