In observance of Labor Day, our school, parish office, and church will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7th except for Mass at 9:00am.

Daily Mass at 7:00am and 5:30pm resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8th. Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!

We're excited to celebrate the end of summer with the entire school and parish community on Sunday, Aug. 23rd!

Please note that picnic hours have changed to 4:00pm-8:00pm. That means more time to enjoy each other's company, meet new and old friends, let the kids play freely on the playground, and soak in the end of summer.

This year, the Solemnity of the Assumption isn't a Holy Day of Obligation, but we warmly invite everyone to join us in honoring our Blessed Mother on Friday, Aug. 14 at 5:30pm (Vigil Mass) or Saturday, Aug. 15 at 8:30am in the church.

The Assumption is a reminder that we are held by a love stronger than death, one that promises each of us the same glory Mary now shares with God. May her example fill us with hope as we entrust our own lives into God's hands.

The headlines may have faded, but families in Pacific Palisades and Malibu are still working to rebuild after the wildfires. Next weekend (Aug. 15-16), we will be making a special collection to support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles in their efforts to help these families come home.

"Love is never love until you give it away."

This weekend, we welcomed Deacons Joe Domond and Omar Uriarte of the Jeff Cherubin Domond Foundation. Deacon Omar shared these words, sung by orphaned children he met during a mission trip to Zambia, as a powerful reminder to turn love into action.

Founded by Deacon Joe and Rita Domond in memory of their son, Jeff, the Foundation serves some of Haiti's poorest communities through a Catholic school, a hospital, a dialysis clinic, and ongoing medical missions. Amid escalating violence and ongoing kidnappings, the country's humanitarian crisis has only deepened, making continued support more urgent than ever.
