My name is Jean Marie Desir, and I come before this community with a grateful heart.
I am a husband, a father, and a faith-driven author — and honestly, I never saw myself as a writer. But God had other plans.
In 2005, I made a promise to God. Years later, He held me to it. What came out of that promise is a faith-based fiction series called That Little Thing: A Life-Changing Story — and I say this with full humility: I did not write this book. I was simply the hands on the keyboard. The Holy Spirit did the rest.
This book was written specifically for parents who have a daughter between the ages of 13 and up.
You don't have to do much. Just give her the first chapter. If she starts reading — God will do the rest.
This story will speak to your daughter in ways that life sometimes doesn't give us the time to. We love our girls deeply, but between work, responsibilities, and the pace of life, there are conversations we haven't had, wisdom we haven't passed down yet. That Little Thing steps into that gap.

Good morning, everyone! Let us pray to Yahweh, our Source!

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new day. Simply being alive is already a blessing. Fill our hearts with peace, our minds with wisdom, and our spirits with strength.
Yesterday is gone, along with our past mistakes, sins, misbehavior, and hurtful thoughts. We place them before You and ask for Your mercy and grace.
Guide our steps, open doors of favor, and help us walk confidently in the purpose You have prepared for us. May Your grace speak for us where our efforts cannot, and may Your protection surround us and our loved ones.
Let every challenge become a testimony, every setback become a lesson, and every delay turn into a blessing in Your perfect timing.

God is our strength when ours is gone.

Good morning, everyone! Let us pray to our God!

Heavenly Father, we praise You today with all our hearts. Thank You for waking us up and blessing us with the gift of a new day. We are grateful for all the good things You have done in our lives.
Lord, You are our ultimate source of strength. When we are weak, You are strong. You lift us up when we are down and renew our strength so that we may soar on wings like eagles. Thank You for always sustaining us with Your mighty hands.
Father God, please bless us today and keep us safe. Fill us with Your grace, Your love, and the answers to our prayers according to Your perfect will. Guide our steps, guard our hearts, and help us to trust You in all things.

God's mercy is new this morning—walk in His guidance and peace.

Good morning, everyone! Let’s pray to our Abba!
Heavenly Father, as the dawn of a new day breaks, we come before You with humble hearts. Lord, as we begin this Friday, may our thoughts, words, and actions be pleasing in Your sight. Help us to honor You in all that we do and say, remembering that our words have the power to bring life, encouragement, and hope to those around us.
Father, remind us that Your compassions are new every morning. No matter what we faced yesterday, Your mercy and grace are fresh today. Because of Your lovingkindness, we can face this day with hope, confidence, and trust.
Lord, in all our ways, today and every day, help us to acknowledge You and seek Your guidance, knowing that You will make our paths straight. Lead us by Your wisdom and keep us walking in Your perfect will.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another undeserved day of life and for Your endless mercy toward us.
Lord, pour out Your blessings upon us today. Heal every wounded heart, renew every troubled mind, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Let those who are weary find strength in You. Let those who are waiting see Your promises fulfilled. Let those who are struggling experience Your miracle-working power.
May Your light shine into every dark place, bringing restoration, breakthrough, peace, and joy. Guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and help us trust You in every season.

Heavenly Father, thank You for waking us up and giving us another day to walk in Your purpose. Even when our hearts feel heavy and we do not understand every season we are in, we trust that You are working in places we cannot see.
Lord, renew our spirits, guard our minds, and give us peace that does not depend on circumstances. Today, we choose faith over fear, grace over bitterness, and trust over uncertainty.

Heavenly Father,

Creator of all things, thank You for the wonderful opportunity to be in Your presence once again. Thank You for the daily gift of life and for the many blessings You pour into our lives each day.
Lord, we recognize that You know the thoughts of our hearts before we even speak them. Today, we lay our souls before You, trusting that You always provide what is best for us according to Your perfect will.
Thank You, Lord, for directing our paths, guiding our decisions, and leading us in the way we should go.
