1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV.
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

This week all three sections of the church modular building were delivered safely to the Hoschton property. We give all the glory and praise to God, for it is only by His grace that this has become possible. We continue to pray for the various projects still to be done to ensure the building can be set properly, and we thank everyone who has donated and prayed for this to become a reality!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Yesterday we toured the Factory where our Modular Building is being constructed and we were able to see the already completed sections. By God’s amazing grace we will be worshiping on our own property soon. We give thanks to the Lord and to all who have prayed and continue to keep our building project in prayer!

Luke 8:5-6 KJV.
“A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.”

What a blessing to be able to come together in faith to do work for the Lord. Today, Berean brethren came together to rake and till the ground by the property entrance in preparation of laying some grass seed and straw. May the Lord bless our efforts for beautiful growth!

“He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches.”

Events of the week:
1. A Kubota tractor was generously donated to aid in the property work.
2. A beautiful owl was spotted on the property.
3. Limbs and trees were cut down in preparation for our modular building coming in the near future.
We thank the Lord for His many blessings!

Psalms 147:16-17 KJV.
“He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?”

The Hoschton property was covered in a light layer of snow/ice. Soon it will all be melted away. There is such beauty in all things the Lord does. We keep those who are less fortunate in our prayers, that the Lord would keep them warm in this cold season.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

We give thanks and praise to the Lord for allowing us to transition to a smaller worship location for the next few months whereby we can save additional funds for our own building on the Hoschton property. Although it is an adjustment, we know the Lord is preparing us for things to come. We have faith that in time the Lord will deliver us and provide us the means for our Hoschton building!

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

We thank God for the gift of seeing a New Year! We thank members of Zion’s Watchman Free SDA Church for inviting us to their New Year’s Eve Mountaintop Convocation. It is truly a blessing to be among God’s people and to encourage and lift each other up in prayer.

Berean Church–Coming Full Circle

Greetings Brethren & Friends

Berean Church is currently in the process of transitioning our church services to our Hoschton, GA property. This requires a building suitable for this purpose. We believe that one of the quickest and most economical ways of achieving this is to put a modular building on the property, which can later be used as a multi-purpose building after a permanent church building is built. For the last couple of years, Berean Church and the International Association have been working toward that end, planning and getting the necessary drawings done. This summer the entrance from the main road was widened and paved with improved sight distance. Now we are ready to move forward with the modular, and this is where we need your help in order to bring the church presence on the property “full circle”! The modular can be built and delivered in about three months. Once it is delivered, we will need to do some additional things to the building to facilitate what we will need for worship. We will also need to put in a septic system and bring power, water, internet service to the building, and do certain other site development tasks that need to be finished. We have an estimated two-thirds of the money that we need; however, we need about $200,000 more.

As you contemplate your year-end donations, please consider a generous gift towards this project. It has been 100 years in the making (Berean Church of Free SDA was established in 1916), and we invite you to be a part of it and put your money where its benefits will be seen for years to come. If you can donate $1,000, $5,000, or even $20,000, or more, it will be very much appreciated! While some may be able to give $20,000 or more, we know that others may be able to give $100, $200, or $500—anything will help. Prayerfully ask yourself, how much can you give for this project, whose effects will continue until Jesus comes? Please ask the Lord what He would have you to give.
