Tonight at our Troop meeting, we met at Scoutmaster Rob's house to do a service project for his elderly neighbor. Her American Flag and pole were in dire need of repairs. We removed the old shredded flag and crumbling rope and replaced them both with new.
We used an overhand and a blood knot to attach the new clips along the rope. We learned how to fold and raise the flag properly.
Once the repairs were done, we also conducted a Flag Retirement Ceremony in which we properly disposed of two American Flags. Thank you to all of those who helped in this project!!

Tonight, Troop 99 performed a service project for the Monday Creek Adventure Camp in Logan.
We assisted their staff by cleaning multiple areas and trails with removing debris left from the harsh Autumn and Winter seasons, in preparation for their 2026 camping programs.
Monday Creek Camp is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities or special challenges.
It was a great night to be outdoors and to help a fantastic organization! The staff was overjoyed and extremely appreciated our efforts!
