Father, before I rush into the evening, help me become still before You. I loosen my grip, breathe slowly, and remember that You are here: even in the trouble I cannot resolve.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Lord, steady the places in me that are anxious, controlling, and afraid. Let Your presence become more real to me than the uncertainty around me. Teach me to receive Your peace: not as proof that everything is easy, but as assurance that I am not facing anything alone.

Tonight, name one unsettled situation before God. Take three gentle breaths, and with each one pray: “Father, You are here. I trust You with this.”

This handsome boy is Flash, and he is ready to ZOOM his way into his new forever home! Flash was found running with the high school kids back to the school and made sure to be so polite and stop at every stop sign with them. He has the biggest heart, and it's filled with pure love and joy. He enjoys getting lovins and giving you as much attention as he can. Father, tonight I lay down my fears, my unfinished thoughts, and my need to control what tomorrow will bring.

Thank You for keeping me through this day. While I sleep, watch over me with Your faithful love. Quiet my heart, cover my home, and help me rest securely in the truth that I am never outside Your care.

Lord, You do not grow tired or look away. You are already present in the hours ahead, holding what I cannot see and guarding what I cannot protect.

“Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:4

Father, I confess how quickly I become restless when I cannot see what is coming. I want to rush ahead, force an answer, and arrange the outcome myself.

Lord, teach me to wait without striving. Quiet the part of me that believes everything depends on my timing. Help me remember that no season is forgotten, no silence is empty, and no delay is outside Your care.

Give me a patient and peaceful heart: one that trusts You in the waiting, remains faithful in the stillness, and rests in the goodness of Your perfect timing. My life is safe in Your hands, even when I do not understand the season I am in.

“My times are in your hands.” ( Psalm 31:15)
