Recently, as part of our global efforts to share the glad tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ and increase awareness and understanding of the Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints published a new video, “What It’s Like Inside the Missionary Training Center”.
As President Nelson said in 2024, "My dear brothers and sisters, do you see what is happening right before our eyes? I pray that we will not miss the majesty of this moment! The Lord is indeed hastening His work.”

Visitor Center NOW CLOSED as Modesto Temple construction draws closer to completion.

With major construction of the Modesto California Temple nearing completion, the temporary visitors’ center has closed, and the construction missionary couple are concluding their service with heartfelt appreciation from local members. Construction on the temple—located next to the stake center of the Modesto California North Stake—began 31 months ago. Dates for the public open house and dedication have not yet been announced. From painting and cleanup projects to helping local families and organizations, hundreds of volunteers came together with one mission: make a difference in Lodi.

Thank you to every volunteer, sponsor, organizer, and community member who showed up to give back and spread kindness throughout Lodi.

Serve alongside hundreds of volunteers meeting real needs and demonstrating kindness in our community.

🎉 12:00 PM – Community Picnic & Nonprofit Fair
Live music, free lunch, local nonprofits, and community connection back at Hutchins Street Square.

Millions of people worldwide will gather April 4–5, 2026, for the 196th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Because this year’s conference falls on Easter Sunday, many of the messages will naturally center on the heart of Easter itself — the literal Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His infinite Atonement, His triumph over death, and the hope, renewal, and peace that come through Him. Sermons from Church leaders will bear witness that because the Savior lives, individuals and families can find strength, purpose and joy in their discipleship.
Another important moment will be the solemn assembly during the Saturday morning session — an opportunity for Latter-day Saints to sustain a new Church President and First Presidency.
