Well… Jersey Mike’s may not be hiring us to film their commercials anytime soon.

BUT they are partnering with us to help raise funds for the expansion of Lodi Upward Sports & Fitness, and we are incredibly grateful.

Now, about the fundraiser cards… there was a little confusion, so here’s the game plan:

• Pick up your fundraiser card in the church office, at Soccer Evaluations on Saturday, or Sunday morning at church
• Bring it to Jersey Mike’s June 3–7
• Receive a FREE regular sub with your $3+ donation benefiting Lodi Upward Sports & Fitness

One small catch: you do need the printed card to redeem the offer.

So no… we won’t be quitting our day jobs for acting careers anytime soon. But we are excited about sandwiches and supporting what’s ahead.

Pastor Dane has spent the past two weeks teaching the Gospel of John to students at Hope of the Nations in Tanzania. As he wraps up his time there, please pray for him and the students he’s been investing in. And today, as we gather here at home, may we remember that we worship together as one church with our brothers and sisters across the globe.

Pastor Steve spent the morning at Upward Soccer evaluations asking kids what they’re doing this summer, and their answers sparked a bigger question about freedom, direction, and what we do with the lives we’ve been given.

This Sunday, we’re continuing our series in Galatians as we explore the freedom Jesus offers and what it actually means to live in it.

It’s also a 5th Sunday, which means our kids will be worshipping with us in service and our Spanish congregation will be joining us too. We always love these Sundays and the reminder that church is meant to be experienced together.

Join us at 8AM, 9:30AM, or 11AM. We’d love to gather with you!

This Memorial Day, we remember with gratitude. We honor with humility. We give thanks for lives given in service and sacrifice. And we look to Christ, our source of hope, peace, and lasting freedom.

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who gave their lives in service and sacrifice.

As we continue through Galatians, Pastor Steve reflects on another kind of freedom. One that came at great cost and still changes lives today.
