TBS's Preschool & Religious School PTOs joined the Mahj craze and held their annual Mah Jongg night! In addition to time for play, the evening included a lesson for beginners, the rusty and the curious! Winners selected trinkets and one lucky winner walked out with a Mahj themed basket. Thanks to all who helped make this evening of Mahj and community so fun!

has hosted successful events this fall, and it's inaugural PM Book Club was no exception! The event featured author Esther Chehebar and her novel, Sisters of Fortune. It was an evening filled with thoughtful discussion and the kind of connections that make Sisterhood so special. Thank you and .zagha for organizing this incredible evening. And special thanks to Naomi Firestone-Teeter of The Jewish Book Council for helping facilitate the conversation, and to Sindy Manas of the Garden State Region of Women's League for Conservative Judaism, who joined to show her support and share a few words.

Last week, Temple Beth Shalom hosted a screening of Safe Room, an inspiring and informative documentary about October 7th. Following the screening, Rabbi Simeon Cohen and Ilyse Shainbrown, moderated a discussion with the film's director, Haley Gefen. The film highlights one of the many remarkable stories from October 7th that showed Israelis coming together to help one another in their darkest hour. Commemorating the 3rd anniversary of October 7th was a meaningful way for more than 200 members of the TBS community to come together. For those that missed it, please look out for the film to be streaming soon. Simeon Cohen Muser Shainbrown
