PUNTO VICTORIA is a Christian organization that was born from CENTRO VICTORIA, which in turn began its work on July 2, 1979, in a small town in the southern zone of Costa Rica. In the first months of 1979, while our pastor general Yamil Jiménez was preaching an evangelistic campaign in a small town in the southern part of Costa Rica, God struck his heart with the need to return to his hometown and start a congregation there that According to the message received from God, it would be "a platform to bless Costa Rica and the nations." On that occasion God showed him that this congregation would be planted to teach believers to take steps of faith, that it should be founded on His Word and not on the commandments of men, and that it would become a base from which men and women would be sent. women to bless Costa Rica and the world. The Lord in those years said that this congregation would be a model of praise and worship for other churches that were around us, and that it should become a place where those who did not have material possessions could also come and worship God, at the same time who learned how to work and prosper in the financial area. In those days Pastor Yamil Jiménez had no money, he had no disciples, he had never attended a Bible school and hardly anyone knew about his ministry. However, this series of shortcomings did not discourage him because he knew that he had a true Word of God living and prospering within his spirit. Since that day CENTRO VICTORIA has grown to be a congregation of more than 2000 members, which has planted more than 25 satellite churches around our area of work, we have sent missionaries and planted churches in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Ecuador and in various cities in the United States. In the same way, God moved Pastor Milton Manzanares to continue this vision in Charlotte, NC. PUNTO VICTORIA es una organización cristiana que nació de CENTRO VICTORIA, que a su vez inició su trabajo el 02 de Julio de 1979, en un pequeño pueblo de la zona sur de Costa Rica. Creemos que lo mejor de Dios está por venir, y que a travez de este mover, PUNTO VICTORIA debe contribuir al mejoramiento integral de cada ser humano y al desarrollo de la comunidad mediante la predicación del Evangelio y la aplicación de los principios bíblicos en la vida diaria. Nuestra visión consiste en formar un equipo internacional de ministerios que sientan pasión por Dios y por los perdidos y que estén dispuestos a orar, ayunar, renovarse y trabajar para que el poder del Evangelio transforme las ciudades en donde les ha tocado ministrar. “Llevando A Cada Persona A Una Vida En Victoria En Cristo Jesús”. En los primeros meses del año 1979, mientras el nuestro pastor general Yamil Jiménez predicaba una campaña evangelística en una pequeña ciudad de la zona sur de Costa Rica, Dios impactó su corazón con la necesidad de regresar a su ciudad natal e iniciar allí una congregación que, según el mensaje recibido de Dios, habría de ser "una plataforma para bendecir a Costa Rica y a las naciones". En aquella ocasión Dios le mostró que esta congregación sería plantada para enseñar a los creyentes a dar pasos de fe, que debía estar fundada en Su Palabra y no en mandamientos de hombres, y que se convertiría en una base desde la cual se enviarían hombres y mujeres para bendecir a Costa Rica y al mundo. El Señor en aquellos años dijo que esta congregación sería un modelo de alabanza y adoración para otras iglesias que estaban a nuestro alrededor, y que debía convertirse en un lugar donde aquellos que no tuvieran posesiones materiales también pudieran venir y adorar a Dios, a la vez que aprendían cómo trabajar y prosperar en el área financiera. En aquellos días el Pastor Yamil Jiménez no tenía nada de dinero, no tenía discípulos, nunca había asistido a una escuela bíblica y casi nadie conocía su ministerio. Sin embargo esta serie de carencias no le desanimaron porque sabía que tenía una verdadera Palabra de Dios viviendo y prosperando dentro de su espíritu. Desde aquel día CENTRO VICTORIA ha crecido hasta ser una congregación de más de 2000 miembros, la cual ha plantado más de 25 iglesias satélite alrededor de nuestra área de trabajo, hemos enviado misioneros y plantado iglesias en Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Panamá, Ecuador y en diversas ciudades de los Estados Unidos. De la misma forma, Dios inquietó al pastor Milton Manzanares a continuar con esta visión en Charlotte, NC.
