Hello and with all the sickness going around I hope this FB Post finds you doing well.
I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, and understanding as this pandemic still continues to test our patients.
This post may be a little long but the information is important.
Update on volunteer training:
Mr. McGee, Warden at Lincoln Correctional Center, informed us that ALL volunteers will be trained.
With the vaccine mandate in place only volunteers with a vaccine card will receive their blue card and be allowed to enter the camp.
They will hold all other blue cards until either:
1) The volunteer has had the required vaccine.
2) The vaccine mandate is dropped in which case the remaining blue cards will be issued to the volunteers at that time.
This is good news to us knowing that everyone will be trained and blue cards will be in place when the time comes that volunteers can once again enter the camp.
Training Sessions:
The training sessions will still be limited to 50 people. Additional training sessions will be scheduled as needed until all Volunteers are trained.
Important:
Training will be done on a Tuesday and a Thursday. No Dates Are Set At This Time
NOTE: Everyone that has already sent me an email to the original training dates do not need to reply to this email. I already have you on the list.
Anyone interested in Volunteer training please send an email to [email protected] with your name and your choice of what day you are interested in. If it doesn’t matter what day you attend training state that in your email and I will put your name in the first available spot on either day.
It is important that you do not reply to this email but send an email. This makes it easier for me to keep track of incoming requests and I will have names and email addresses for future communication.
I have signup sheets ready to enter names in the order I receive them. When I have 50 names on a sheet, I will then start a new one. My signup sheets are labeled Group 1, Group 2, etc. I will email each group when dates come available as soon as I get the dates.
Thank You,
God Bless
Fred Gambill / President LCPM

Hello and I hope this finds everyone doing well.

Volunteer training for the people that have signed up has been cancelled until February due to the rising covid numbers. I will send out the training dates as soon as I know what the dates will be in February. Training days will still be on a Tuesday and Thursday.
I am sending out another email in case anyone was unable to respond to my first volunteer training email.
Note: Everyone that emailed me for the original dates do not have to respond to this email. I have everyone signed up and will contact you with the new dates as soon as I receive them. If you listed multiple people in the email you sent me, Please contact the people you listed or have them email me and I can add their name to my contact list.
Volunteers will still be required to have the covid-19 vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna both shots, Johnson and Johnson 1 shot) (booster shots not required) in order to attend volunteer training and to enter the camp after receiving your blue card.
Important: Training sessions will be limited to 50 people per day.
Additional training sessions will be scheduled as needed whenever the 50 people limit has been reached.
Anyone that has a vaccine card that haven’t already contacted me and would like to attend a training session please email me at [email protected] and let me know if you are interested in a Tuesday or Thursday.
Anyone that is currently getting shots that haven’t had both shots as of yet please email me at [email protected] . I am going to start a list of people in the process of getting the vaccine. This will help me determine if more training will be required and I can convey the information to the camp.
Thank You,
Fred Gambill, President LCPM

I have emailed people that are already volunteers about the volunteer training. I thought I would post it on here for people that are not on my email list and may be interested in volunteering in Prison Ministry at Lincoln Correctional Center here in Lincolnton.
At this time you must have had your covid vaccine to attend the training sessions. Hopefully this will change in the future.

After many discussions at the camp, volunteers will still be required to have the covid-19 vaccine (both shots) in order to attend the volunteer training and to enter the camp after receiving your blue card. Hopefully this will change in the future.

Training Dates/Times: Tuesday January 11th 2022 @6:30pm
Thursday January 13th 2022 @6:30pm

Hello everyone.
On behalf of the LCPM I would like to wish you all and your families a Very Blessed New Year.
The LCPM would like to thank you very much for your continued support of the ministry.
The volunteer training coming up in January hopefully will answer some of our questions on how soon we will be able to get services back into the camp. I will post on this page and also be sending email reminders to the volunteers on the training dates and requirements next week.
With quite a few guys being on a semester break from trade school Pastor (Chaplain) Scott Mann and myself Fred Gambill have been showing series 1 "The Chosen". We are over half way through the series and will finish up in the next couple weeks.
Please continue to keep the LLC facility, staff, officers and the men in your prayers.
Thank You, Fred Gambill, President of the LCPM.
