“Do this in remembrance of me.”

Mass will be celebrated at 9 am on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25. A grain of wheat will bear no fruit unless it falls to the ground and dies, and there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another.

To everyone who remembers and grieves their loved ones today (and everyday), we pray and hope for Paradise with you. May we always remember Christ’s Sacrifice, unite ourselves to Him, love as He loved, and live in Eternal Life.

✝️ 🕊️ A Prayer for Grief:
We seem to give them back to You, O God; Who gave them to us.

Yet, as You did not lose them in giving, so do we not lose them in their return.

For life is eternal and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.

Amen.

We came together as a parish on Sunday, May 10 to celebrate 12 Confirmations and 1 First Communion at the 10 am Sunday Mass. It was exciting and joyful and a beautiful way to honor Mary on Mother’s Day. She delights in her children, and so do we!

Ten months ago, when we selected the Sixth Sunday of Easter to be the Confirmation Mass, we had no idea the readings would be so fitting. It was a great blessing and a wonderful surprise.

“Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.” Acts 8: 14-17.

We celebrated First Holy Communion and May Crowning on Sunday, May 3. Praise be to God!

We are so grateful for all the families and the joy we shared that day. The parents were so proud, and the children are now able to join in the Feast of the Lamb. Every. Single. Week. 🤍

God delights in this day because more of His children are sharing in the Paschal Mystery of His Beloved Son. What more is there to be said?

“This is the Day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad” Psalm 118:24

Thank you to our CCD leaders and teachers: Roland Madadjim (coordinator), Riley Bittner (director and lower elementary catechist), Gerard Bixenmann (upper elementary catechist), James Pease (middle school catechist), Luke Wadle (high school catechist), Liz Loes (theology of the body catechist).

🍝 Praise & Pasta 2026🍝

We celebrated Lincoln Marathon weekend with a special blessing for runners at the 4 pm Mass. We followed this with a pasta feed in Centennial Mall.

To the 650 people who joined us from around the world, thank you for letting Mary welcome you and feed you. No one is cheering you on to Heaven as much as our Blessed Mother!

Today we celebrate St. Joseph the Worker!

We never tire of celebrating the Guardian of our Redeemer and of our Blessed Mother! We like to think that through his intercession, our parish has been able to meet our fundraising goals to restore St. Mary.

(Also, 3 of the 4 priests living and serving at our parish are named in honor of him😃)

St. Joseph always takes care of our Blessed Mother and her children! God is so good!
