Update from Pastor Thomas in Haiti:
February 2, 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
With grateful hearts, we write to express our sincere thanks for your faithful and continued support of our ministry throughout the years and up to the present time. Your commitment, prayers, and generosity have been a constant source of encouragement and strength to us.
The past year has been marked by many challenges and difficult moments. The ongoing social conditions and political unrest in our country have deeply affected daily life and ministry. Yet, in the midst of these trials, we have experienced the faithful presence of God. He was with us, He is still with us, and we trust that He will continue to be with us in the days ahead.
By the grace of God, the activities of both the Church and the School are progressing well, despite the difficult circumstances. We consider it a great privilege and a profound responsibility to share the inspired Word of God with approximately 500 to 550 students. This calling is deeply meaningful to us, and we rejoice in seeing how our school has already impacted the lives of many young people. All the glory belongs to God alone.
As the social conditions and political unrest continue to rage, we humbly ask you to keep our school students, teachers, and staff members in your prayers. We pray for their safety, perseverance, wisdom, and hope, and that the Lord may continue to protect and sustain them each day.
By the grace of God, the new year 2026 has begun well, filled with renewed faith, hope, and confidence in God’s ongoing work among us. We earnestly pray that the Lord will continue to bless this ministry, which remains a channel of His blessings to His people. Your prayers, your support, and your generous gifts are powerful expressions of your love for God and for His people, and they remind us that we are not alone in this mission.
Please accept our heartfelt gratitude and the assurance of our continued prayers for you and your ministry.
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20–21).
In Christ’s service,
Pastor Thomas Bernard
