Moses Series
In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons on Moses and the Israelites journey to the promise land. Kids will learn about the story of when when Miriam and Aaron opposed Moses' leadership. God punished Miriam with leprosy and Moses had to pray for her healing. Kids will learn that we need to be humble and kind.

Promotion Sunday
Sunday (June 7th) is Promotion Sunday. All school aged children will move up to their fall grade/class. Which means if your child will be in Kindergarten they will go to the elementary class in the Kid City Room. If your child is going to be in 6th grade they will go to Youth Group. Youth Group meets during the 9:00am service.

Summer Spectacular
Summer Spectacular is our Summer Children's Program for kids who will be in K-5th Grade in the fall. We would love to have your child join us July 13th-July 16th from 6:30pm-9:00pm each night.

Kids watch dramas, sing worship songs, learn Bible stories, memorize verses, play fun games and eat yummy snacks. Our theme this year is "Indiana Stone: Pirates of Mystery Island". Indiana Stone and Delbert are on adventure to find the hidden treasures on mystery island. Kids will watch and learn stories from the life of Daniel.

Kid City Weekend Newsletter

Churchteams
We are switching to a new database software called church teams. We will be using the new software tomorrow for check-in. There are some real good upgrades specifically with check-in.

One change is that parents will need to use the number pad to type in their phone number and then they can use the touch screen for everything else.

Kids will learn about we should only worship God and that we should put Him first in our life.

Dear Awana Parents,
All Awana kids and parents are invited to our Awana Award's tonight. The ceremony starts at 6:45pm in the Worship Center. During the Award’s ceremony kids will be recognized for finishing their books and participating in Awana. We will also recognize and honor our volunteers for Awana and the Agency.

Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to come. Kids will sit with their parents. There will be no children’s classes going on downstairs. There will be a cookie reception afterwards.

Moses Series

In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons on Moses and the Israelites journey to the promise land. Kids will learn about the story of Jethro (Father in law) giving Moses wise advice. Jethro sees how Moses judges the people from morning until night. Jethro tells Moses that that this is not good and that he should divide up the work among faithful men.

Parking Lot Party

Join us on Friday, June 5th for Calvary's Summer Parking Lot Party at 7pm. There will be grilled hotdogs and chips. A great time to fellowship with other families at Calvary. This will take place in the back parking lot.

Good Morning!

Moses Series

In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons on Moses and the Israelites journey to the promise land. Kids will learn how God miraculously provided food from heaven. God provided quail at night and manna appeared on the ground in the morning. Kids will be reminded that God can provide all our needs.

Israel 9 News

Elementary kids will get to see Episode One from the drama series "Israel 9 News". Tom Brokenjaw, Terry Mason and Juanita Redhaira are ready to bring the news. In this episode, Juanita has breaking news from the Israelite camp about manna falling from heaven.

Family Baptism Class

Is your child or teen interested in getting baptized or learning more about baptism? We are having a Family Baptism Class on May 3rd at 12:00pm in the youth room. This is for kids (7 Years & Older), teens and their parents.

Good Evening!

Tomorrow night is 5th Grade Invasion. One night for the fifth graders (soon to be incoming sixth graders) to experience youth, get a sense for what they will be stepping into next year and hopefully make some connections, so they have familiar faces to recognize next year. Parents of fifth graders are also invited to sit in and see what’s in store for their kids next year. Youth Group meets in the youth room 5th graders have a choice to attend Youth Group or Awana.

Tomorrow night is also Glow Night in Awana. Kids should wear glow in the dark apparel. We will have some items available for kids to wear as supplies last.

Good Morning!

Moses Series

In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons on Moses. Kids will learn how God provided water for the Israelites. After three days of traveling in the wilderness they finally find water at Marah. But the water is bitter and the people start complaining. God tells Moses to throw a log into the water and it turns sweet. Kids will be reminded that God can provide all our needs.

Israel 9 News

After letting the Israelites go, Pharaoh changes his mind and pursues the Israelites. God delivers the Israelites by parting the red sea so they could walk on dry ground.
