Awana Open House & Registration

Midweek Open House
Join us tonight for a BBQ and open house. This is an open house for adult classes, youth group and Awana. You can register your child, meet their Awana leaders and see what room they will be in.

Awana Registration
Awana our Midweek Children's Program starts August 26th. Awana is from 6:30pm-8:00pm on Wednesdays and is for 3yr-5th grade. There is also nursery (0-2) available for those attending a Calvary midweek class/group. For our nursery and our Cubbies classes a parent must stay on campus.

Good Afternoon!

James 1:19 Series
We are continuing our series of lessons on James 1:19, "Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger." This is also the power verse that kids are memorizing.

Tomorrow, Kids will learn about being slow to anger. They will learn the story of Cain and Abel. Cain allowed his anger to control him which caused him to do something terrible to his brother.

New Drama Series
Our elementary kids will be watching the new drama series, "Sammy Goes Back to School." Sammy is a 30 year old who has to go back to 5th grade if he wants to take over the family business.

In this episode Sammy meets with the Principle Dean and tells him the whole story (with flashbacks) of why he was sent to the principal's office. It involves him being quick to anger.

Good Afternoon!
James 1:19 Series
We are continuing our series of lessons on James 1:19, "Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger."

Tomorrow, Kids will learn about being slow to speak. They will learn the story of how Miriam and Aaron talked bad about Moses until God stopped them.

New Drama Series
Our elementary kids will be watching the new drama series, "Sammy Goes Back to School." Sammy is a 30 year old who has to go back to 5th grade if he wants to take over the family business.

In this episode, Sammy is not careful with his mouth and gets in trouble. He has to stay after school and learn what it means to be "slow to speak".

Good Afternoon!

James 1:19 Series
We are starting our series of lessons on James 1:19. "Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger." Tomorrow, Kids will learn about being quick to hear. They will learn the story of Eli's sons who refused to listen to their father and God.

New Drama Series
Our elementary kids will be watching the new drama series, "Sammy Goes Back to School." Sammy is a 30 year old who has to go back to 5th grade if he wants to take over the family business.

Sammy's first day back to school does not go well. He gets in trouble for not listening. Sammy learns what it means to be "quick to listen".

Spectacular Sunday
We had a great Summer Spectacular week. Tomorrow (July 19th) is our "Spectacular Sunday" where we celebrate the week. Parents, grandparents and elementary kids are invited to attend one of our adult services (9:00am & 10:30am).

Kids will recite the power verses and help lead a song on the stage. The Spectacular band will be leading music and singing songs from the week.There will also be a recap video from Summer Spectacular. Kids are encouraged to sit with their parents and wear their T-shirts.

After the 10:30 service there will be a Picnic from 11:45am-1:00pm in the gym. We will have free grilled hotdogs, chips and water. There will also be a Kona Ice Truck available to purchase from.

There will be no normal elementary classes downstairs. There will be nursery and preschool classes.

Daniel
In the morning, our preschoolers will learn about the story of Daniel and the lion's den. Amazing story of how God sent his angel to shut the mouths of the lions.

Joshua Series
In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons out of the book of Joshua. Kids will learn the amazing story of when Joshua asked God to stop the sun. Joshua and the Israelites were in a battle and God stopped the sun from going down so they could finish defeating their enemies.

Summer Spectacular

Kids watch dramas, sing worship songs, learn Bible stories, memorize verses, play fun games and eat yummy snacks. Our theme this year is "Indiana Stone: Pirates of Mystery Island". Indiana Stone, Delbert and Laura are on an adventure to find the hidden treasures on mystery island. Kids will learn stories from the life of Daniel.

Spectacular Sunday
Next Sunday (July 19th) is Spectacular Sunday!
This is the day we celebrate the week of Summer Spectacular
Kids will perform a song and their power verses in the adult services.
Followed by a Picnic in the gym at 12:00pm.

Happy July 4th!

Joshua Series
In the morning, we will continue our series of lessons out of the book of Joshua. Kids will learn the story of Achan stealing items that were dedicated to God. Because of his sin, the Israelites lost the battle agains the city of Ai. Kids will learn that with the Holy Spirit's help we can obey God even when it is hard.

Summer Spectacular
Summer Spectacular is only a week away. We would love to have your child join us July 13th-July 16th from 6:30pm-9:00pm each night. This is our Summer Children's Program for kids who will be in K-5th Grade in the fall.
