This Sunday is Easter7: the last Sunday of Easter. We'll celebrate POTLUCK and 5 years of FoodNet. We'll read Philippians 2:1-13, Tim will have a good news in outreach from Foster Care Closet and we'll collect our May birthday/anniversary offering (for Foster Care Closet).

From our founder, Leigh Esau, "I am a product of the foster care system and my husband and I fostered over 20 children in our 13 years as foster parents. Through my experience I became painfully aware how very little has been done to focus on those first hours of a child entering into foster care. B...

This Sunday is Easter5. At our 10:45 service, Janet will have the message from Acts 17:16-31 and Kurt will offer a "Prayers of the congregation" (more below). We are planning a monthly, "prayers of the congregation" during our worship time. While our "prayer after sharing" often looks more inward to focus on our joys, care and ministry to each other (though it can include looking outward to events outside our congregation), this time will intentionally focus on FMC’s relationship to God and the concerns of the wider church, our neighborhoods, nation, and world events. Different people from FMC will offer the "prayers of the congregation," once a month, using differing formats and focuses to help us broaden our prayer ministry as a Peace Church. At FMC, we have a Zoom worship option: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82888171371?pwd=UTdrZW9WWDEyM3Z6ck1kaXlnb1E3Zz09 (Meeting ID: 828 8817 1371, Passcode: 047633)

Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise cloud communications.

As part of this year’s Nehemiah Action on April 30, we are forming a pop-up choir! This special ensemble will gather at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church at 5:30 PM for a brief rehearsal and then perform at the start of the Assembly at 6:30 PM.

We already have singers signed up from 13 congregations, and we’re hoping to expand that representation to include voices from all 27 congregations. Whether you’re a seasoned choir member or simply love to sing, you are welcome!
