Regardless of what American culture, and humanity, say, you are not autonomous. You are not the “master of your fate”. You are not the “captain of your ship”. There is coming a time when everyone will stand before God. You will give account to Him, and you will be judged by Him. Christ said “no one is good but God.” He is the standard everyone has failed to meet. Scripture says, outside of Christ you are condemned (John 3:18). Scripture says outside of Christ you are under the wrath of God (John 3:36). Settle with the King today. Turn to Christ and live.

So many folks ask the question, "how can there be only one way to God? , and will go on to claim something to the effect, "that's not fair". These folks are right in one regard...it most certainly isn't fair. If we received what was fair, there would not be one way at all. The first question reveals a serious misunderstanding of two critical issues: The first concerns who God is. The second, who man is. It's only because of God's mercy that there is one way at all. I understand who God is, and I understand who I am. As a result, I don't want God's fairness, I want His mercy. Repent and believe the gospel.
