How can you, with a straight face, say you "love" God and yet wish the demise of your brother or sister. Make it make sense!
I John 4:20 KJV
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen?"
Proverbs 12:22 warns that "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are his delight."
Proverbs 6:16-19, there are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him, and #2 is a lying tongue.
How can you say you love God, adore Him, worship Him, sing praises unto Him, and in the same breath speak death and lies upon the one They created in Their Image and Their Likeness?! (Genesis1:26a)
Did not Jesus warn His Disciples that when they are persecuted it is not they that are being persecuted, but Christ.
But in Matthew 5:10-12, Jesus encourages the persecuted ...
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in Heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
John 15:18-21
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
Be Careful Who You Lay Your Tongue Upon. God is no respecter of persons. He meant it when He said, "Touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm." (Psalm 105:15)
It's a dangerous thing to be in the hands of an Angry God.
(Hebrews 10:31)
