Bethel today unanimously voted to call Roth Reason to serve as pastor here at Leesburg. Rev. Reason and his wife Elizabeth spent about two weeks with Bethel in July and participated in all aspects of the church's life and ministry. Educated at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Rev. Reason has served churches in Pennsylvania and most recently in Yuma, Arizona. Their family includes three children.

Bethel and Emmaus churches said goodbye Sunday to Gerry Malkus who so faithfully served as Bethel's interim pastor. He and his wife Pam traveled weekly to Bethel for more than 18 months to participate in all aspects of church life. We joyfully await the next chapter in Bethel's work and worship.
